Great Upgrade for my KitchenAid Stand Mixer
I ordered this flex edge beater for my KitchenAid mixer and it works very well. The silicone edge helps scrape the sides of the bowl while mixing, which means I donโt have to stop and use a spatula as often. My daughter used it when we were mixing and immediately said it was wonderful because it keeps the ingredients moving and does a better job scraping the bowl. It fits my KitchenAid mixer perfectly and seems well made. I also like that it can go in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. So far Iโm very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who uses a KitchenAid mixer.

Perfect for Batter
This attachment works so much better for cake batter or anything that you would need to stop the mixer to scrap from the sides. These rubber edges do a great job of that for you.

Fit my 5qt without a problem. Looks like good quality, fits great, with a little adjustment of the screw it scrapes nicely. The price is right too! I donโt see any negativesโฆ

Works great with my KA45 mixer
I had one that had the flex edge only on one side. It worked better than the standard, however, it developed a crack in the edge material. Maybe from putting in the dishwasher? Not sure, but it didn't last as long as I would have liked. The double flex edge works better at cleaning the sides of the bowl. I'm hand washing to hopefully make it last longer.

Sturdy
Love this paddle. Helps scrape the bowl while mixing to make sure all ingredients are mixed well. Bought as replacement to another one that broke. Previous one was plastic so Iโm happy that this one is much stronger.

Sounds awful and loose
When i attached it to the mixer it felt very loose but i thought its alright no big deal. I turned on the mixer and the beater keeps hitting the middle of the bowl in a weird way making very load noises and causing the moxer head to move as well! I bought it for the compatible models listed yet it does not fit and im worried if i use it it will damage the mixer.
