A Tier rated PSU on the SPL charts at a great price.
Pros,1. It's a 1200w 80+ Gold power of course.2. It has the new ATX 3.1 and PCIE 3.1 standard.3. It has the new 12v 2x6 connector fir the newest GPUs(especially from Nvidia).4. Has pretty of connections for most PC components.5. The fan isn't too loud and it's surprisingly cool(see cons).6. It has an Eco switch(though I don't use it).7. This PSU will handle a GPU like an RTX 5090. I'm currently running a RTX 5090 with no issue at the moment(only time will tell).8. It's a sturdy PSU, yet smaller in size. This made routing the cables so much easier.9. Lastly the price. For what you get and tge quality this would be extremely hard to beat even if it's competition was running a sale. It's not impossible to beat because some may need some better and/or different where the price isn't justified.Cons,1. The intake area isn't the most ventilated. I'm actually surprised it stays as cool as it does. Perhaps because I'm not majorly pushing my PC's power limit.2. The fan could be a little better, but it seems to do the job.3. I wish some of the cables were braided rather than using flat plastic coated wire. The coated wire maybe easier to route, but I'm skeptical of it's durability and I was cautious when installing this PSU because of this.4. If your PC is running something like a RTX 5090(especially with a last generation Intel I7s or I9s) I'd advise undervolting your GPU. I will put less risk on your 12v cable, reduce any coil whine and possibly make PSU and other components last longer.

100% worth it
They ran out of the 850w when I got this so I bought the 1200w instead. Powers a 7900 gre and 12700k just fine, stays quiet and looks nice. Cybernetics platinum is great too!The cables are flat and flexible, the only thing I dislike is the daisy chain they included on the GPU cables. I use one cable per power input on my GPU, so the daisy chain more or less is just in the way. It was just long enough I could hide it in the case shroud. All things said, this power supply is worth it!

Excellent quality at an affordable price.
Bought this after reading the review for it on Tom's Hardware. So far working very well.In spite of being a 1200W PSU, it is significantly smaller (140mm length) than my previous EVGA 750 G2 (180mm length), which barely fit in my case.Construction quality looks excellent; the aesthetics is very pleasing and the casing is thick and sturdy.Note that even though it is rated at 80+ Gold, it's actual performance far exceeds that standard (closer to Platinum). Check Tom's for details.

CONSTANT CLICKING UNDER LOAD
So my PC started randomly restarting and refusing to turn on so I had to get a new power supply to test if my Corsair RM850x was the culprit. I bought this and figured since my system is power hungry if it worked I would just leave it in while I RMA my old power supply. I spend hours swapping them out only to find out THE THING CONSTANTLY CLICKS WHILE UNDER LOAD.This thing wasted so much of my time because when I tested it barebones it was fine! But now that the PC is complete again, everything looks great, I start playing a YouTube video, AND IT STARTS CLICKING. And yes, it is 100% the power supply because I found when you turn off the Eco Fan mode, the clicking goes away. But now you have a loud fan that's louder than ALL OF MY CASE FANS COMBINED.I have also seen online a couple of other owners of this power supply have had the same problem. Is there no quality control for testing this thing under load?????? What a terrible waste of time this thing is. I'm at least glad this is with a new unit I can refund instead of an old one I would have to RMA. I can understand power supply failures as unlucky events, but shame on Montech for letting this unit slip through the cracks.

Powerful PSU for an excellent price
I have no complaints at all about this PSU. Fits well in their Montech XR case and super easy to install. It simply slides right in the bottom and secures with screws. No noise that I can hear and it's also overkill for my build. Mainly bought this to support more demanding hardware in the future. Given it's price, I'd recommend it simply for the headroom and greater efficiency it'll have at lower loads. This sometimes can lead to a longer lifespan for the power supply as it'll run much more cool.Fully modular with plenty of extra cable ties and straps and all the cables you'll need.Remember to never reuse cables between power supplies. Keep them separated in their boxes if you build multiple computers.

Very good quality for a good price
Works well but sometimes make a slight ticking noise.

GREAT PSU ( cords can be a little short)
The PCiE cables (GPU power cables) are long enough to make it where they have to, but are a little short. So cable management might be a little ugly.Otherwise fantastic unit, everything you need packed supremely.

Too damn loud!
Good value, stable voltages, but LOUD under any type of load!Something is either wrong with the fan configuration or maybe with the fan itself, I just know that it is obscenely loud in comparison to the rest of my computer fans, if your GPU starts pulling ANYTHING over 220W, you WILL hear this PSU guaranteed (at least you'll know if it's working or not). I'm gonna keep it because outside of that, it was a pretty good deal, just a shame I have to mod it in order to have a silent PSU

The best looking price to performance 1200W 80 Plus Gold PSU for your build 🫡
A brilliant quality PSU, quiet when needs to be. The cables are pretty basic don’t expect a fancy design or quality beyond basic PSU cables, definitely not soft or easily malleable cables but the PSU itself is where the quality stands out, I’m hoping I’ll never need to use the warranty but if I do I’ll update this review accordingly. Montech is a great company and I’m hoping they’ll honour this 10 year warranty for this, quite frankly, bargain of a PSU. I overspecced it for my needs but I’m sure it will come in handy for any upgrades down the road. They give some classic plastic cable ties and some open ended cable ties, great for cable management if you’re into that, some people aren’t and that’s ok.

A tier on ZTT PSU tier list, great price, plenty og PCIe GPU connectors.
Great PSU so far. Great price and got A on ZTT/SPL's PSU tier list. Would buy again. If this is what you're looking for, it's great quality (apparently) for a great price. Buy it. Also love that it has enough PCIe GPU connectors for my soon-to-be multi-GPU home server.
