Standard Process Wheat Germ Oil 60P by Standard Process

I can't tolerate vitamin E supplements, but am a 45-year-old woman who needed more vitamin E for hormone balance. What a relief to find this. I've had no problems with it. Hormones do seem more balanced, skin looks better, and I think it's even made me feel better brain-wise. If you're at an age where you need help with hormone balance I also suggest the following: Nordic Naturals DHA, a high quality blackcurrant oil supplement, Naturemade multivitamin for Her. For me, calcium and magnesium are better had through food. But add those too if you're not getting enough.

This is non scientific but I have found over many years the wheat germ oil does something to make fleas and mosquitoes not bite. Many years ago I lived at the beach and was tormented by sand fleas. A friend said that wheat germ oil makes you unappealing to fleas so I tried it. It worked! We had mosquitoes this summer so I got this wheat germ oil from Amazon and by golly the mosquitoes stopped biting me! As I said this is a non scientific review and it may not work for everyone and if you are gluten intolerant or have celiac disease you would not want to try it. But you may ne like me and have great results and be able to be outside at dusk and dawn!

This works well on my skin when apply it topically and wash it off in the shower. Skin looks and feels better for a few days afterwards. Sometimes I ingest the capsules. They seem to work well.

I'm taking this for a vitamin E deficiency. I'm not sure if they are really gluten free... but I don't have celiac so it's not a big deal. I don't know if they "work" or not, but they are easy to take. I'll update later. By the way adults only need 14mgs of vitamin E a day. This has much more. I pierce the capsule and only take a little bit / don't want to take too much.
