Q: Why aren't the commandments numbered?

Many centuries after the Ten Commandments were written down, only then were verse numbers added. They were never numbered in the original manuscripts. This is why, as far as Christians go, Roman Catholics and Lutherans number the Ten Commandments differently than Eastern Orthodox and Protestant Christians. This particular item uses the Orthodox and Protestant numbering. Many such banners do not give the verses in full for longer commandments, but supply the gist of the commandment. I have this hanging in my sons' bedroom so it is the first thing they see when they wake up in the morning. Not only Jews and Christians, but some Muslims will also hang the Ten Commandments on the wall, depending on which sect. Moses is the Prophet mentioned the most in Quran, and is one of the most mentioned Prophets in the Bible.

Q: Will this item be Folded? Are there any creases? Will it be flat and smoot for display on the wall?

I can't remember if it was folded or rolled. It's not completely smooth to be honest, I still hung it even though the edges kind of curl. I wondered if a an iron on low with something between the iron and the wall hanging would have flattened it, but I never did try

You need to order a certain amount (I believe $50.00) or certain products. $25 worth of books for you free shipping, but this was some time ago. I don't know if this is still applicable.
