JBL Tune Buds 2 - Noise Cancelling Earbuds - Black

What the heck kind of title is that you might ask??? I have latest Apple Air Pods Pro... and it hard to compare yet I cheerfully have both. I constantly fret about losing my Apple buds with the charge down so I cant find them. It takes all the fun out of it for me. ALSO the Apple don't have the base that I really like. I didn't want to get the JBL cheapest nor did I want to get the several hundred dollar version either. I have to compromise.. so .. HOPEFULLY this is helpful to someone on the fence like I was. 1) JBL never feel secure in my ear and in trying to get them secure I inadvertently reset or constantly cycle them. However.. Once in my ear.. and seated.. they are nice.. stay put and don't have that look I detest about my Aplle ones.. I got the BLACK JBL TUNE BUDS 2 and they sort of dont stand out. I hate the look that my ears always have a "Runny Nose" look.. the dangling white thing hanging down.. I really appreciate JBL black. 2) I have a very hard time figuring out how much charge is in my JBL Tune Buds. I only have battery clues that are in the 3 white lights on the front of the case. Fine... but I am never sure what charge is where and if buds are charged totally etc. HOWEVER.. the JBL last through the night for me. Apple seldom makes it ever so I have to use only one Apple bud at a time. I really like the immersion of 2 buds to help sleep. AND>>> the JBL seem to last, for me, about twice as long as the Apple ones. Still.. I never know what condition my c ondition is in HOWEVER.. if I get in a pinch.. I can drop back to 1 bud and go on forever with the JBL. 3) The range .. for me.. is less for the JBL than the Apple HOWEVER.. the JBL really are worth the slight drop in distance due to the lovely lovely BASS.. I love Bass. That would make it hard for me to ditch or ghost the JBL. I have 4 sets of buds.. A couple free sent for evaluation... however none stand up the quality of Apple Or JBL. My evaluation free ones were in the $100 range so I feel the comparison is valid. In conclusion... If you don't want that apple signature drippy white thing hanging down from your ear and you like a GOOOOD Bass thump and a REASONABLY fair price ... I think this is the one f or you. The lack of a good battery is still an issue but nor a deal breaker. It is made up for by insanely fast charge and long battery life.... Truly hope this helps a fence straddler.. Cheers

They are a bit weird of a fit. But they stay in my ear once I set them right. I've had them for months and only charged them once. I use them in spurts of 15 to 20 minutes each time. They sound great. Great app to control them. Very happy for the price. You can use either right or left by themselves. I bought memory foam tips that help them fit even better.

A beautiful symphony of sound, the quality is amazing, the connectivity is beautiful, the battery life is basically almost lasting 10 hours straight just from one listen and the battery is charged so quickly, only thing is sometimes the percentages shown on the phone for the headphones or sometimes a little bit screwy but overall best product best company and the volume controls and connectivity are such a sweet deal and overall the best product even better than Apple and works really well with Android phones and as for the controls the controls are pretty easy double tapping the left for ambient aware and noise canceling and the Right double tapping for changing music and tapping once to pause music it's basically the best thing ever and phone calls are easy to hear too

These buds work great! I gave them 4 stars because i was hoping for a bit more bass given the price point. With that said, every other aspect of them is spot on! They are receptive to input with your fingers, the app works well, they connect well and the sound quality is quite high! They won't beat an over the ear headset but they are really good for buds.

I bought mine based on the great comments, back in November. Unfortunately in my case, the connection when taking calls is always poor and many times the people tell me that they can hardly hear or understand me, or that i sound far away, or they just can't hear me at all and it would result in me having to disconnect the Bluetooth, take our my earpods and pick up the phone. I tried several options like Turing off the dual connectivity, adjusting the Bluetooth setting on my phone. I even tried Developer mode setting adjustments and still, nothing solved the problem with call clarity. It doesn't matter if it's a direct call, or over wifi or data call, it just isn't working the way it should. I went as far as a resetting the JBL Tunebuds2 and nothing. My phone is a Galaxy s22+ 5g just for the readers to know. And I'm really disappointed because i upgraded to these headphones hoping that they would work seamlessly. It could be that my phone is not communicating well with the Bluetooth call technology. Because our works well worth videos and music, or watching movies or Facebook and Instagram. Just phone calls are the issue.

I love these earbuds! The sound is crisp and clear, and the noise canceling mode is amazing! I will sometimes use them even when I'm not listening to anything, to just block out noise while I'm studying. I especially love being paired to two devices simultaneously - I hear my phone notifications while I'm watching a video on my laptop, and I don't have to do anything to switch from one device to the other. They are also so lightweight, I sometimes forget I'm wearing them. Great value for the money.

Great sound quality, great battery life, and don’t recommend if you want to make a lot of phone calls. Everyone complains about not hearing me.

This is the device exactly wanted. Good sound quality with perfectly noise cancellation. Good pricing in that quality.

They are so comfortable! The noise cancelation is insane. And I love every feature it has! The battery life is also awesome. And with the ambient aware. I can have clear conversations even if I’m blasting full volume. A feature no one talks about is my find my buds that makes an ultra loud sound when you lose them. I slept with them, walked with them, rubbed with them, and they didn’t even budge. I can always count on them if I’m going on a trip, doing sports, or just everyday activities. BUT be aware. There is a chance that the buds are too small or too big for you ear. In that case, it won’t fit and keep falling. You’ll have to return them. The only way you can tell is putting them on. Thankfully it works perfectly with me.
