Culligan ZeroWater Pitcher versus Other Pitchers
The design of the water pitcher has good durability. It is a bit heavier than my Brita pitcher. From many different water pitchers, this one has a TDS meter that detects the condition of the fresh water source. If its zero, or close to zero, it is safe. If it is over +300, then it is not drinkable. The device is AAA-battery powered and removable from the pitcher, so you can safely dip it on any fresh water. The sliding compartment on top of the pitcher to pour water is much simpler than Brita's design pitcher. Whenever I closed the Brita pitcher, it always make a "tak" sound. The Culligan does not do that. Culligan's filter is the most unique than any other filter including Brita. Of course, when I first bought it, I was astonished of its large size but for a reason of its purpose. In the interior of the filter, it has many different layered components to remove most of the bad stuff just as it is shown in their product box. The overall price cost of this pitcher is affordable to my account. Comparing to Brita's price cost is much higher than Culligan. The replacement for the Culligan filter is around over 30 dollars or higher depending if you're getting by two, three, four, or six in a single box. In my opinion, I would definitely choose this product than any other. Brita is okay as it filters most of the bad stuff and its TDS meter level shown was above 10 and below 20. But Culligan helps to filter out more than Brita or any other pitcher product. I only used this product for a few weeks. The filter is still good so far. No changes yet as it is still brand new when I bought it. Been only using it to filter water bottles and water gallons. I tried filtered tap water once. I was astonished how it becomes drinkable. I have read comments from other reviewers that they experience that their filters did not last long between a few weeks to a couple of months depending of their own water resources. I will continue and observe my own product. I may update my review again if any changes of the filter.

Great quality and convenience
I’m very satisfied with my purchase. The pitcher works great, is space saving, and the quality of taste is perfect. I’m happy with my purchase.

Culligan Total Disappointment
I take an oath on a Holy Bible: I believed Culligan to be great, and was WRONG. I purchased the 10 cup on March 13th, 2026, set it up per instructions, even had to call on how to get the meter installed without breaking/cracking the pitcher. Customer Service was great. Got it installed. 2 weeks ago, the meter started acting bizarre flashing very fast numbers from ZERO into the 30's. I changed out the filter. Heck Fire, IS THIS HOW LONG A FILTER LASTS? Washed inside the pitcher & reservoir, rinsed, & dried. The meter still had high numbers in the upper 8 & 9's. And, the little red light would not go dark. It's still on. This morning, I take out the meter. And since I feel it is not working I look inside the area where the batteries are. It is burnt, wetness was ABLE TO REACH THE BATTERIES. AND FOR 2 BLASTED WEEKS IVE BEEN DRINKING THIS!!! I give my cats & one dog this, I use that water for cooking. I haven't called Culligan YET, but will as soon as I finish this review & upload a picture. The other Culligan pitcher with ZERO WATER TECHNOLOGY I purchased, WELL THAT METER IS ALSO DEAD. It was delivered the day after the 10 cup. I will say one thing...... HAVING THE METER IN CONTACT WITH THE WATER ALL THE TIME "IS A HORRIBLE DESIGN". The other pitcher where you dip it yourself is a better idea EXCEPT..... WHY IS THAT METER DEAD SO SOON. The sad thing is I thought "at first", I should of got the 32 cup system. And I would like the bigger one. BUT, NOT THE WAY IT IS DESIGNED. You may see one star highlighted, well that for the Culligan Customer Service ladies I spoke with. That 1 STAR is equivalent to 5 STARS for them. And I was thinking of the Culligan System for under the sink. Culligan..... You are a total disappointment. Sherry S Chattanooga Tennessee

Overall its a good pitcher.
I've had several different pitchers throughout the years. This one is my favorite so far. I filter all my water throughout the day for myself and three dogs due to lead contamination in my city. So we go through A LOT of water. I love the design of the top lid. It is slightly concave so if there is water ontop after filling, it goes right into the filter area. The handle is perfectly situated so the pitcher is balanced when full which means less strain on the wrist. I notice when our water is 'dirtier' than usual because I need to change the filter more frequently. As far as taste, no complaints there. After filtering, the chlorine smell and taste from city water is gone. Yes the filters are pricey but our health is priceless and lead poisoning and forever chemicals are no joke. The one thing I would be cautious of is getting the outside of the pitcher wet where the little monitor sets in because that will corrode inside where the batteries are placed. The water monitor could be put in a better spot. Being that it is under the handle it is a little difficult to get out. I use a teaspoon to pop it out. No complaints about the filtering time. The better the filter and the more it filters out the longer it takes. Thats just a fact.

Best Water pitcher filter I've had. I'll be staying with this filter and pitcher long term.
After trying a few water filters like the Britta elite this one just feels and tastes the best. It's a solid pitcher that doesn't feel like cheap plastic. The TDS meter adds a layer of data that I find extremely useful so that inor guessing g when to change the filter. I have decent quality water from my tap and have had the filter for almost a month and it's still reading "O". I recommend this pitcher. I'll be buying replacement filters for this likely for the 2026 year even though theyre slightly more pricey than other options because it's worth it for the quality.

Pros far out way the cons
As far as filtration goes it's hard to beat but because it's so thorough it is also slow, doesn't make a lot of water at one time and the filters are expensive.. "Pro tip": Filters are pricey, here's what I do.... My tap water has a TDS of 125, the pitcher does make it a "0" TDS but the filter "should be" replaced when the meter reads the water at "6" TDS... I bought a second pitcher and use the old one as a "pre filter" (that puts 6, 7, 8 etc TDS water into my new pitcher instead of my tap water's 125) so that the new pitcher's filter works less and will last numerous times longer. To check all of the boxes, there's no odors, great water clarity, water tastes shockingly like nothing and there is very, very little to no leaking (not an issue). I would absolutely purchase again but buy a second one to pre filter the water first with your used filter because two future filters are more money than the pitcher itself. You'll save in the long run.

Poor design of TDS meter water filtration is good.
From everything I’ve read it seems the filtration system is very good. Like most people I do find that highly filtered water does have a slightly odd taste. It’s kind of makes sense because it’s pretty hard water which most people aren’t used to drinking. The real the reason I’m giving it three review is the TDS measuring meter is very poorly designed. As soon as you put the picture in the refrigerator, which you likely will, the TDS meter will become saturated with moisture due to the change in temperature when you take the picture in and out of the refrigerator. Also batteries don’t work well in cold temperatures so the TDS meter keeps turning on and off and then eventually stopped working. I actually thought this would happen as soon as I put as soon as I put it in the refrigerator when I first bought it because the case of the TDS meter has no moisture protection at all. It’s just plastic cheap plastic and doesn’t have any kind of water seal so you’re basically putting batteries and metal inside your refrigerator that will collect moisture and probably eventually rust but certainly the TDS meter will stop working. I’ve already seen plenty of people posting issues with the TDS meter in the new design. What blows me away is how does such a poor design even end up in the product the removable TDS meter was fine you didn’t you don’t really need to check it every single day so why did they switch to a attached meter that is so poorly designed it will literally break if you use it as designed. This kind of poor mechanical design just seems to be happening more often even for good products I feel like the whole product, industry or hard. You know that crates physical items is just losing their mind sometimes and designing products based on a whim or the advice of a a new engineer who is never designed a product in his life and they just go forward with the product without detailed, long-term testing, etc. very frustrating.

Omg I’m impressed and now realize my Brita pitchers and filters have been doing nothing. NOTHING
So I just got this, but I’m gonna give it five stars to start with. I have two other Britta pitchers. Oh my God, so my water comes out reading about 245 with the little meter you get, I had trouble getting the filter in I will admit, but I finally figured it out and then I tested the water coming out of my Brita pitcher. 242. Oh my God, so the Brita is not taking anything out. When the water goes through the filter, after I got it in right lol, it reads it zero. I tested both Brita pitchers and they both said 242 so they are literally doing nothing. I’m kind of shook right now. I went ahead and ordered some more filters, Sorry Amazon, but I actually found them quite a bit cheaper on the Kohls website because I had a really good coupon. And I went ahead and ordered one of the larger capacity Culligan “pitchers” I can always return these if I need to the only thing that’s gonna hold me up is if the filters literally lasts like three refills. But I am so shocked right now. You’ve gotta make sure you get that filter in correct , and that the water is only coming out the tiny little hole on the bottom. Yes it does take a while but that’s OK for getting clean water. I do wish the filters were a little bit cheaper. I did see that you can order them from Culligan directly on like a subscribe and save to save more than on Amazon I did see there are some knock off filters, I might order them at some point to try, but the reviews were kind of sketchy.

Best filter Jug "Check images"
I come across these by searching on google! Why is it that when you look for a filter that removes flouride ..and a filter as good as this you can't see it in suggested/ recommended?? It's a shame more people dont know about this. I bought this because the usual brand i use stopped doing prime deliveries and they kept running out of stock a few times so thought best for a change and im not disappointed one bit. The taste of this wager is far superior to any bottled water I've had and it's clean and healthy. Im happy that my kids dont have to drink dirty water out the tap as we know it's a big 1st world problem. It does everything I need it to do and it looks stylish! Im just sad I didnt see this sooner. Culligan need to make the point this removes flouride on their box. but that's the only issue I have. Culligan you need to shout it from the roof tops!!!! It's a big deal!!!! Massive selling point!!! I dug around their website to find everything it removes. Ill post it with this message. Besides this it's very easy to use and lasts a long time and doesn't leak. There's a meter that attaches to tell you how clean your water is. But you have to go to the website to understand it better

X5 Filter in a month not worth it
The filter doesn't last for a week this is ridiculously expensive to go through 5 refills within a month. I bought this on 06 February and now 08 March I am on my last refill filter meaning X5 filter for a month. Not worth it.
