ESV Economy Bible, Giant Print

Large print and great for study group.

If you're looking for an inexpensive copy of an ESV bible in large print, this one would work for you. That is exactly what I was looking for, and that's what I got. KJV has always been my go-to version of the bible, and what I've stuck with all these years. I wanted to try a different version, but I didn't want to buy an expensive copy, to only find I didn't like it. This is my try-out copy and so far, I like it very much. Please don't buy this expecting to get something of great quality. The cover is thin and will probably already show some wear around the edges when it arrives, even though it's brand new. The paper seems thicker than in other bibles I have and there's no ghosting, as far as I can tell. I believe the type is 11-point, which is large enough for me to read easily. This is not a red letter version, but I knew that when I ordered it, so I was not disappointed. I really like this bible, but I'm not an expert on bibles, so I can only give you my simple description and opinion. I hope it helps someone decide if they want to purchase this bible.

Large Bible with Giant print this one sits on my desk it's too big to carry around in my opinion if you're looking for something with large print to study out of and highlight and take notes this would be a good economical option

So far so good. The pages stick together because it is new. This makes it easy to skip. I thought it was missing large chunks of Scripture. I noticed the page numbers were also incorrect, then I realized the pages were stuck together. This Bible reads well and is very good to use for group Bible study.

Finally a Bible that has print large enough to read comfortably! Great price. The ink does not show through the pages like in the thinner Bibles.

*large print in an easy to read font. *thicker pages *paper is too dark, almost like a children's coloring book page. Maybe a cross between tan and dream. The whiter the paper, the better the contrast for us folks with bad eyes. *great price, especially if you catch a sale *something about a paperback that allows one to just dig in and use it well instead of worrying about how well it's taken care of *cover arrived damaged (see Pic). *good, solid literal translation *3.5 stars: minus 1 star for damage and 1/2 star for paper color.

I use this as my sacrificial bible for highlighting and note taking. The larger print makes it easy to use, and to read. The main downside is it quite a hefty tome, so it's not really a bible you can carry around with you. However, if like me, you want a bible to keep in a particular spot, and that you can use for notes and highlighting passages, but not break the bank to purchase, this could be the bible for you. The other bonus for me is I love the colour. It makes me happy.

It's very fragile. I don't like it! It also came damaged. The cover is like paper and the print paper is too light it will rip off easily. The gum used is tacky . I would have bought a cheaper bible if I knew it's this messy

My girlfriend LOVES this Bible. The print is so large she doesn't need reading glasses to read it. Fantastic version not difficult to understand. This Bible is perfect.
