It does the JOB!
I gave this hitch pin 5 stars because it truly does what it promises—silences that annoying ball mount rattle. I use a 2.5" B&W Stow & Go mount, and before this, the constant clanking drove me crazy. With the Let’s Go Press‑on Locking Silent Hitch Pin, the ride is now smooth and quiet. The press‑on lock design is simple and secure and the build feels solid and durable. Installation was quick, and the difference was immediate. If you’re tired of hitch noise and want a reliable solution, this is absolutely worth it. I don't know why they call it key-less it even though you lock it with a lock & key???

Can I give it 10 stars?
I received this item today Jan 31/2025 and I just installed it. It looks very well made. Sturdy and the best thing of all (and the main reason I bought it for) zero / absolutely NO WOBBLE AT ALL (and hence obviously no noise). It fits perfectly. I hope it lasts for a long time. This was purchased to be installed on a 2" hitch Class III with a 7" hitch extender so that I'm able to open the trunk of a Subaru Ascent 2022 while the bikes are loaded and the bike rack is tilted/folded back (Küat Transfer V2 2-bike rack). Hope that info helps somebody. Very happy with this! Update 04/28/2025: Worth every dollar. It's been 3 months since I got it. This think is perfect. I'm buying another one for a different 2" hitch for an actual cargo trailer. The other one was installed on an extension 2" hitch for the bike rack. 05/15/2025: Bought another one for a different 2" hitch to be used for a cargo trailer. Just perfect.

BEST STYLE FOR A DEVICE TO ELIMINATE TRAILER HITCH RATTLE
This is one of two device designs that is available to address that all annoying trailer tongue rattle. The other type is one that has multiple bolts (up to four) that tighten against the receiver and the hitch tongue. I also own one of these and I feel this is way too complicated and thus takes too much effort to use. I like this design by Aero because it also prevents bike racks and trailer hitch cargo beds from rocking in the hitch receiver which is annoying and frightening at the same time. I own both types and I have to say I like this the best. Why, because it is so minimalist in design, easy to use, AND gets the job done! There is a spring that actually is mounted on the BIG square nut that goes inside the trailer ball tongue and will not fall out - nicely designed. I like it so much that I bought a second one and have mounted it on my cargo-tray's trailer tongue. I keep the second bolt/lock mechanism in the glove box as a spare in case I loose the one mounted on the trailer hitch. ;-)

A must have for towing.
Works as advertised. I use it on a motorcycle hitch carrier. I haul a drz400. It keeps the carrier solid no rattle no budging. It’s definitely worth it!

Did the job!
I've had to learn some new skills since my husband became disabled and unable to help me with some of the things he had done before. This was one of those things. Using the simple instructions, I had little difficulty installing this pin and it did what it was advertised to do-reduce load sway and hitch noise for our heavy duty Alpaca trike rack. Know that you will need a sturdy 5/8 in wrench to complete the tightening of the nut as the wrench provided is merely a starter wrench.

Simple, effective, easy to use
This hitch pin has worked out great for me for over a year now. It has completely removed the struggle of tightening down the typical anti-sway devices on my hitch rack, plus it is a lot simpler tightening one bolt. The lock and key is a nice bonus, though I'd not rely upon it for actual security... thieves these days can steal your stuff with just a battery powered angle grinder.

DO NOT BUY!! SIEZED ON HITCH!! BEWARE!$
First, technically it works. It securely, tightly and silently towed and my noisy trailer, and I loved it for the first year when I only used it on weekend trips. If you plan to ONLY use it for short periods of time in summer it is probably safe to use if you remove it after EVERY TIME you use it. However, I would not recommend that you keep it installed on your hitch for anything longer than a couple weeks, of good weather, at a time. After keeping mine on all winter on salted roads, the INNER SHEATH SIEZED TO THE HITCH PIN so tightly that they literally became fused together!! Of course the lock also became corroded and completely siezed as well, that might be expected after being exposed all winter. In order to get mine off, I had to buy an angle grinder, grind off the lock mechanism and then, because the sheath had fused to the pin and I could not remove the pin because the inner block has a hole too small to allow thepin, fused with the inner sheath, to be pulled through I had to cut it twice more with the angle grinder and bang on the pin for 2+ house with a hammer and chisel to get the pin narrow enough that I could pull it out through the 2" reciever hole. It was a miracle I got this thing, and the hitch it was locking, off my truck! It could have been a massive issue if I was unable to remove it! Buyer Beware!! As I said, if you only plan to leave it installed on your truck for a few days here and there, removing it after EACH AND EVERY use, it worked very well and you probably will not have any problems, BUT DO NOT LEAVE IT INSTALLED ON YOUR TRUCK FOR A LONGER PERIOD OF TIME OR YOU MAY NEVER GET IT OFF!
