This was exactly what i was looking for! I have two 50lb goldendoodles that I transport in my SUV. This product fit perfectly in my back seat and was super easy to install. It provided a sturdy base so that the pups did not feel like they were falling and there was easy access to the seat belt buckles so i could transport my pups safely. I will definitely be buying another for my husbands car.

10 year dog owner , by far the absolute best backseat cover I’ve ever owned. The fact that it folds up on itself and can stay in the car without being in the way is a first. I’ve never found one like this before. It’s also my first time owning a hard-bottom backseat cover and let me tell you- my dogs love it. I did purchase separately a non-slip bed/pad to go on it that is made for this reason because when they say hard, they mean hard. We go on long road trips at least twice a month so them being comfortable is necessary. It protects the sides of the car very well and I love that the side straps to hold it up against the doors can completely be removed for washing.

I’ll give the negatives first on why I gave four stars instead of five. We have 100 pound dog. I like having the hard bottom surface, I just wish the manufacturer would’ve used a four piece hard bottom instead of an eight piece. It makes your dog fall in between the pieces when they’re walking around on it. The solution for that was throwing a moving blanket on it. The other problem is the bottom that they lay on is slippery when you go to start and stop. Your dog is sliding around all the time. By having the moving blanket on the surface, took care of that problem also. Other than that, I love this. I would definitely buy it again and would recommend to anybody with a large dog. Very easy to install.

This works great. It is strong and stable enough to hold my full grown lab. The side handles for the grab bars in the back are a little unstable. I left those down and tucked the sides under my folding seat. My only complaint is the material is slick. When my dog jumps in, she slides on the cover. But it is really easy to clean the dog hair as it won't get stuck in the material. It also came with a pet seat belt and the velcro is very strong and covered by the material so it also won't get hair caught in it.

The backseat extender came quickly and was easy to assemble and install in my car.It is great to keep the dogs from ruining my back seat!

Fits well and like the ability to fold it up vs taking out when not using it but disappointed the board isn’t as firm as I anticipated it to be.
