I used an extension so I could get 2 lights in the same remote location so I could turn on 2 lights at the same time. Super cheap and good quality remote.

Has good range, it can reach the next room over when my bedroom door is closed. I sometimes need to find the right angle for the signal to go through. I'm very satisfied with these! I've made my 3 options my bedroom light, fan, and living room light.
