Range Hood Insert 30 inch, Ducted/Ductless Range Hood with Gesture Sensing & Touch Control, Built-in Kitchen Hood 600CFM, 2 Pcs Stainless Steel Baffle Filters

My old range hood insert finally died, so I searched for one that had the right dimensions to fit in the existing mounting hole. This one is the same size except that it is taller behind the enclosed hood, so it fit perfectly. This hood is awesome, especially considering the price. It is well made, sturdy, quiet and powerful. The only real change I had to make was to drill mounting holes in the opening flange to line up with the mounting holes on the new hood. The instructions are a little simplistic, but everything you need comes in the box. Your filter may want to rattle a bit especially if there are any obstructions or rough areas in your exhaust flue. I put 4 small pieces of adhesive rubber pads on the flange that the filter mounts into. No rattling and I can still put the filter in the dishwasher for cleaning. I looked inside the range hood before mounting and I was impressed with the design and construction of this product. It is much better and less expensive than the well known brand name hood we put in a rental home. The 2 LED light bulbs are easy to change and plenty bright unless you have a black stove, backsplash and cabinets. Please refer to the pictures. There are some really good products that come out of China. This is one.

Not as easy to install as expected. Would be better installed with two people just because you have to screw into the mount from above while holding it aligned from below. I drilled holes in the mount and secured them with machine screws. The fan was not as quiet as I had hoped but still quieter than the Broan it replaced. Since it's blowing and venting so much better I can't really complain. My biggest disappointment was the brightness of the lights. They are 25 W, not much better than a night light. The description states a higher wattage bulb can be acquired commercially but I sure couldn't find any on Amazon. I purchased some under the counter LED lighting to supplement the light. I did not see the baffle in the description but it came with a baffle door. I used a different baffle which fit perfectly and was really a better way to attach the duct material. I tried but failed to mount the 6in duct to this appliance but the lip is just too short to mount anything well to it . I used AC Infinity 6" Backdraft Damper, One-Way Airflow Ducting Insert with Spring-Loaded Folding Blades for 6” Ducting in Range Hoods. This fits perfectly onto the top of this appliance and I highly recommend it. The dimensions provided in the description are exactly correct so I had no cutting or shimming to do. This appliance functions well and is of good quality and a good value.

Works nice and priced well in my opinion

No complaints! Works mostly noiseless and gives great airflow into the kitchen. Didn't have to spend any money on a handyman to install it, it was all DIY and I love the sensor feature. 10/10

The suction power is strong and removes smoke and cooking odors quickly. I really like the gesture control feature—it’s very convenient when my hands are dirty while cooking. The stainless steel design looks modern and clean, and the installation was straightforward. Overall, good quality for the price and a nice upgrade for my kitchen.

Pro-Nice looking ,works good Con- NO INSTRUCTIONS, no operating instructions no installation instructions- unable to find anything online- you are on your own UPDATE : I had the installation and operation instructions just over looked- my bad. This range hood works great-small giant!

the Fan stopped working after 1 year, go with a name brand.

Not a recommended to use in canada

The installation directions were very vague. No directions on how to install the unit using the ductless option. Tried to check it out online to no avail.

Not certified to use in Canada or USA. I asked this question from seller and they confirmed it is certified. I got the rangehood today and it has no ETL, CAS or any marking or sticker on it. It is NOT Certified or safety passed for Canadian Use. Returning it back.
