These buttons were exactly what I needed. One button popped off my favorite jeans, and I easily replaced it with one of these. No special tools were needed. I just found one that looked like a good match and I popped it on.

These jean buttons work as advertised. I do find the two ends to be difficult to separate, but I don't really have a fear of the button coming undone while wearing since it's so tight. The overall quality of these are a bit lacking as they don't feel heavy duty and seem more like a lightweight aluminum for the button part, and they clang and sound a bit tinny. I actually use this type of product frequently to both loosen and tighten certain pants, and these are my least liked buttons.
