If you have a pet reptile, you know making their enclosure environment ideal is a daily task depending on the weather outside and in your home. This is fine as the main gauge in your pet's habitat. Experts usually go with a digital readout for the accuracy. However, I have this, a digital readout, and a thermal gun and this thermometer-wise is pretty accurate with plus or minus 1 degree. Overall, this is more than adequate as an overall check in your pet's environmental status.

Great . In addition to being able to read numbers , you can easily learn needle position if you locate it where it's difficult to see the numbers. Having more placement options is very helpful. Can read with lower light and at more angles than some others. Comparing ot to 3 digital, 2 strips and smaller gage for 55 gallon.

Hygrometer is okay. The temperature never seems to budge from75 degrees F. We kept slapping additional heaters on our giant hisser tank- and with extra heaters- it certainly feels tropical when you stick your hand in. And, the critters are breeding (which requires much warmer temps than it reads) I have since read that none of these analog hygrometers are accurate which is a bummer because I liked the clear display and dual temp and humidity gague. I wanted non digital readout- the analog display. Since it’s not crucial to be absolute, we will keep this and not opposed to another. Also- whatever adhesive is used- it’s not ever coming off this constantly very moist tank without prolonged chemical warfare and brute mechanical strength that I am incapable of
