POSITIV Andy Macdonald "Digital Series" Complete Skateboard (8.0" x 32.125")

At the fifty-something dollar delivered price that I paid for this board I consider it worth the price. I also own a higher end skate shop board with Powell deck, Indy trucks, and Spitfire wheels as a comparison. I bought this as an inexpensive diversion since I am away from home for an extended time and just wanted a simple activity to kill time with and maintain my sense of balance. The POSITIV board is not high end but it is not designed to be. It is a huge step up from what I have seen in the blue and white big box everything stores and toy stores and not that much more expensive than the boards they stock. This board it is a good quality complete board at a reasonable price. All of the components work together well and the quality is good. I'm an adult who grew up on skateboards and BMX bikes but never outgrew the fun they bring. If you are a casual skater, or beginner who just wants a fun complete board at a low price then buy this board. If you want something more then be prepared to spend more for higher end components and build yours from the ground up. The deck is very sturdy and the concave surface compares with my Powell deck. I also need to add that at a solid 230lbs I have not felt the huge flex I was expecting to feel in a deck at this price. The trucks and wheels are decent quality as well. The trucks tightened to suit me and the wheels roll smoothly. If you are used to the more expensive components then you will notice a difference, but it is not a huge difference. If you want a great starter or relatively inexpensive spare, then I recommend the Positiv.

Bought this for the mini logo trucks and for riding rough pavement (immediately swapped wheels for softer ones.) The deck is surprisingly decent. Best complete for under $40, without a question.

I probably would buy little lighter trucks if your going street. Fine for ramps. Altogether: 3.5 for street skating, 5 for ramps. -Wheels and Bearings Pros -Wheels are absolutely fine, work great for smooth surfaces -Bearings are really good. Over a 1 minute spin. Cons -None Altogether: 5 stars Griptape works great. Overall I would say it's worth $70. 4.5 stars.

This board is extremely well made, arrived perfectly on time undamaged, and has an awesome design. The trucks are really nice and it turns smooth. The bearings are fast and you don't feel sluggish or slow riding around. It is a great price and is better that other boards with a higher price tag. It can definitely take a few hits and still be perfect to ride on. Just tighten the trucks and it will never wobble, even down steep hills. I would definitely recommend this board to anyone considering buying a skateboard. It cant be beat!

I did a lot of research into getting a beginner board. A lot of people point to getting one already put together instead of buying different parts to assemble yourself because it's cost effective and it lets you get a taste of boarding before shelling out your wallet. After attempting to get a cost estimate of a custom board (which went well over $100), I decided an already made one would be better. After much research I chose this board for the following reasons: 1. The board length matched my height. I was a little afraid it would be a bit longer than I wanted, but when I tried it, it was a good length. (I'm 5 ft 5 in, btw). My friend who is 5 ft 1 in can also use my board, although it's a bit long for her. Unfortunately, you won't find pre-made boards shorter than this. I looked high and low. 2. The wheels match what I want to do - small hard wheels for riding street. 3. The design is phenomenal. One of the nicest boards out there unless you want skulls or cartoons on it. After riding this board a few times, I am very happy with it. It is truly a quality skateboard.

Really solid board. Turns well. Smooth bearings. Gotta change out the bushings but that's it. I really just wanted to try out the Mini Logo trucks. Less expensive than just buying the trucks and I got a nice complete for $35.

After doing a ton of research I decided on this board for my 12 year old son. I began by comparing information on good/popular brands and best beginner boards. I am happy to say this board met all of my expectations and then some. My son loved it as well. We've already been to the skate park with it, and he practices tricks at home with it. It's light weight, the hardware was great and it's a perfect time size for both beginners and experienced adults. The board is easily maneuvered, turns well and is easily controlled. Positiv is already a well respected brand name in the skate world, and as a parent and from the kiddos this board gets 2 BIG thumbs up. Please do the research if your child is really interested in learning to skateboarding

I'm 19, 180lbs 5'10ft. Its a nice board, only problem was that one wheel doesn't spin very well, but I think my friend will help me fix that. Got the Rodney board. update: truck aren't completely parallel to the ground, but it's not that noticeable unless you actually stare at it and analyze. update 3 years later: Actually experienced with what is good now. This board is terrible. Wheels have always barely spun, and they wore out quick. The wood used looks like some cheap composite. I wouldn't advise to pay this much for a bad board.

Recibí la tabla en una caja enorme, lo cual no es malo, sino que venía sin protección alguna, entiéndase que no contaba con envoltura de burbujas de aire u otro tipo de cubierta y al no tenerlo, la tabla llegó maltratada en sus extremos, situación que me decepcionó toda vez que los productos que pedí con anterioridad, llegaron bien embalados; la patineta venía en una bolsa de plástico que no evitaba en lo mínimo que se maltratara; hasta la fecha funciona bien. Por ello, la calificación de 4 estrellas. Llegó dentro del plazo establecido.
