Aside from it being a great movie, the 4K UHD Remaster is brilliant. I'm always a little reticent to buy 4k discs of old movies cos to be frank, the price difference between a standard Blu-ray disk and a 4k disc is considerable but this one is well worth the cash. The sound is brilliant, especially important when part of the charm of this movie is the great soundtrack, definitely one to crack the volume up on. The picture quality is also very good. No it's not as 'refined' as a modern movie shot in 4k, or indeed something like star wars 4,5 & 6 that had the premium treatment, but it's not overly grainy like the 4k edition of Predator. Pictures are smooth, clean and crisp and a joy to watch. Worth adding that I'm reviewing this on a LG 77" OLED so this does make the remaster quality more critical. TLDR: A great example of 4k remastering.
