This Snow Cone machine is fantastic. Quality materials, sturdy, and easy to move around with the wheels. It has a cabinet for storing cups, syrup, and the scoop, and a bracket for holding cups as well. The shaved ice it makes is high quality and makes delicious snow cones. It’s also safe and easy to use - my 11 year old granddaughter can use it without any problems or concerns. She loves making snow cones for her friends. Lots of fun!

I bought this snow cone machine to enjoy the Easter holiday with kids. When the technician has set it up the machine wouldn't grind the ice. It wasn't even spinning. I contacted Amazon and was offered free return. Then the DHL agent in My island St. Vincent and the Grenadines said they were not informed of any such return by Amazon. This is such a headache because I spent quite a few hundred dollars between buying the item, shipping it to the Caribbean and clearing it from customs. All this for nothing because the machine isn't working. the technician then attempted to check if something was wrong and when he opened the big blue part where the motor is it was broken and still had wet glue. This is just wickedness and they are not even offering me a refund, but rather I must return it before they can determine how much of a refund I get. This is the worst experience I have had from Amazon. Just please give me my money back or a replacement of the item. Shipping to the states from the Caribbean is hard and expensive. Please Amazon or Nostalgia, you collected my money and all I have is damaged product. Please give me my money back. I'm begging you.

Once assembled, it's a little bit larger than I thought it was going to be however, I wouldn't change a thing. It is easy to use fairly quiet and easy to clean. It is definitely meant for adults to use not children because of the blades inside of the top used to shave the ice. It was a hit in the summertime at all of the parties. It comes with some flavor bottles, and it brought me back to my childhood with great taste to the snow cone.

This is a very cute retro-looking item, and it does a great job creating lots of shaved ice. It appears to be sturdy and well built, and was fairly simple to assemble. My 8 year old granddaughters REALLY wanted it, so I got it for their birthday. It does not come with any syrups or accessories, which must be purchased separately. Even though on the surface, it appears as if this is a good gift for a child, it really is not. The blade in the ice reservoir is basically a razor blade, and would easily cut you if you're not careful, and of course, it is electric, so must be plugged into an electrical outlet. It is great, as long as its operation and maintenance is left to responsible adults. The other negative is that if you have any leftover ice shavings, it is kind of a pain to remove them from the box. The easiest way was to remove the upper section from the cart, and dump the excess ice and water into the sink. This item is better suited for making lots of snow cones, like for a kid's party, and not so much for a one-off snow cone. Too much work for only one or two. That said, it does what it is supposed to do, and does it well. As long as you understand it's limitations and precautions.

You will be the coolest grandma EVER with this machine... it does everything it says it does, and more! The ice shredding is so fast, that 4 grandkids couldn't keep up! I did order additional syrup flavors, straw, cups - because the kids intend to give FREE snow cones to my neighbors! I have to admit, that I did lay plastic wrap down on the bottom, and stick a bowl in the machine so that I could use it for myself to just have a small snow cone at night! HA! That way, I don't have to worry about any cleanup... just dump the small amount of drainage water from the bowl in the morning! I especially love that it can be disconnected from the cart to sit on tabletop or picnic table, so I can give it to others to use very easily!

I purchased this snow cone machine as I was in charge of a community event for my church. It was a hot day in Nashville, and the line at the snow cone machine was constant. Nevertheless, the machine didn't let us down! It kept making great shaved ice the entire day. Considering that renting a commercial snow cone machine is around $60, we've already paid for half of the product... and I fully expect we'll get MUCH more use out of it than that. Considering that it also came with an extra blade, I'm absolutely sure I made the right decision. Okay... I agree with almost every other reviewer... the cart is too short to be of much use (although it is cute). We just put the shaver on a table-top instead (with our snow cone machine). You're going to want a table anyway to put your flavors, straws, cups, etc. Also, the cart quality is questionable. When I was putting it together, there were several frustrating moments where pieces just didn't seem to fit right. I'm not saying the cart is garbage... but If I were to purchase the machine again and it were $10 cheaper without the cart, I'd just go with buying the shaver alone and use a table.

This product was only used once. It was setup and used as per instructions, but very quickly produced a black smoke and upon inspection found metal shavings through the ice. We attempted to return the item, but was expensive and cost more than the original product, hence we never returned it to obtain a refund.

We got it for our parties and friends gathering and was able to return it to the box. The packaging is really smart and cool. Everything in one small box the metal slightly weak, but it’s completely fine. It does the job and it comes with the blades and all the accessories. Just make sure to buy the syrup and the cup separately.
