Can this be used to do head lining in cars like a 4 way stretch fabric?

I would say no. I bought this quite a while ago now (maybe 2 years) to repair my Alcantara car seats. This does not look or feel like suede at all and it has no give in it, even after steaming to streatch. It has been sitting in a drawer since the day I bought it, which is most likely where it will stay until i eventually decide to throw it out. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but if you are looking for that Alcantara look, i wouldn't recommend this product.

It is slightly stretchy we covered a car roof lining with it hope this helps.

Anyone used it as a car headliner? Does it look like quality and luxury or can you tell it’s just a cheap version looking close up? Thanks.

First No and then yes. I used mine to cover a lampshade base. I have Alcantara covered sofas and this 'Alcantara similar' is much thinner and not the same texture. It would be OK glued onto a stiff backing I should think. Hope that helps.
