Used this fir the first time today. We had a very light snow that became ice overnight. Used it on my front deck and walkway to the car. My husband is handicapped and a fall would be disastrous. The ice melted quickly and he was able to get to the car with no problems. Also, there was no residue on the deck!

Very effective product and does not require frequent applications compared to traditional rock salt. Works fast and keeps walkways clear. Not sure about how safe it is for concrete. Says it's safe but, we shall see. Overall, great so far!

Does the job just fine. Clumps up a bit at the bottom of the bin. Granules break down into dust a bit.
