I had to replace the batteries in my Ryobi ZT480EX, which had shown serious signs of degrading after only 3 years. These batteries are a drop in replacement in form factor and connection. I had to change NOTHING! They fit, and are approximately 40# lighter PER battery! The batteries supply significantly more usable power to my mower than the original batteries, nearly doubling my mowing ability between charges. Charging can be done with the original Ryobi charger, but that charger is not optimized for these batteries and should not be left plugged in for extended periods of time. I bought a LifePO4 battery charger to properly charge and maintain this investment. Yes. These batteries are more expensive than the orriginals, but will deliver significantly better performance with a much much longer service life. Easy choice!

Straight drop in replacement of the Ryobi lead acid junk batteries on my nearly new riding lawn mower. These work great! Battery level indicator still shows full charge even after over an hour of mowing!
