I bought this September 2025. It has been maintained as per the manual. The machine worked great. In May 2026 the machine started making a grinding noise. We sent videos to the manufacturer since is less than a year from purchase. They are doing nothing to replace or correct the issue. The noise is so loud we cannot run it. It is so loud you cannot talk to others without yelling. After dealing with the company they offered a 20% refund. I want the unit replaced or fixed. But they are not doing either. This unit is not usable any longer. Update: The machine stopped working all together. I notified the manufacturer again. They offered a 40% refund. After I advised them that I want the unit fixed, replaced, or a full refund, they have agreed to send me a new unit. I am satisfied with this solution. Hopefully the new unit works well.

Update as of 5/2026- it died on us a few days ago after less than a year and a half of owning it. It made some loud noises and since then can't get cold enough to make ice. Customer support was helpful but since there is only a 1 year warranty I'm SOL. Good ice maker, but I'm going to try out a different brand and hope it lasts longer. She will be missedWe've had this thing for over a year and it works great. It's a little loud but we've long since gotten used to it. Just sounds like a fridge kicking on periodically. It makes ice fairly quickly, and cleaning is easy since we use distilled water only in it

Worked great from August 2025 to January 2026. It was a little loud when the motor kicked in. All of a sudden it started making this screaching noise and stopped producing ice. I expected it to last longer than 6 months. Guess I'll try a different brand.

This ice maker is almost perfect for us. The size is great, it takes up a little counter space and will generate a fair bit of heat but is not much bigger than a knife block, which is great. The only reason I have only given it 4 stars is that ours makes the very annoyingly loud hum/vibration for the first few minutes of operation that others have noted int he Reviews. My guess is that it is the compressor pump trying to bring the refrigerant under pressure for efficient cooling. Literally after a few minutes, the ice maker is whisper quiet as expected. As promised, the first nuggets of ice start falling into the collection bin right at the 6min mark and it will continue making ice until gravity can no longer allow ice to fall and then it will shut off. Because of the annoyingly loud vibration sound, we have done what others suggested and turn it off after it has filled the collection bin until it is low, and then turn it back on to fill the tray again. Super simple, but defeats the purpose of having the ice maker on all the time as expected.

Love this ice maker! Perfect sized ice, perfectly chew-able, better than any of the others we tried!
