Surprisingly Amazing!
I bought a "new-to-me" boat with an existing Raymarine setup. I wouldn't have chosen it myself, but it's here, and it is a good set up. I just needed an AIS. I wanted a transceiver, so family can keep track of my sailing adventures via Marine Traffic, etc. I also wanted it to integrate seemlessly with my existing set up. I could've went with the Raymarine 650 and saved a couple hundred dollars, but I AM GLAD I DIDN'T!!! This thing is amazing! I"m in Ventura, CA and it picks up ships over 100 miles away! I know much of this has to do with my 65' mast and the ships it's picking up are much bigger, indeed. But this integrated seamlessly and does it's job better than I expected. Great job, Raymarine. I'm slowly becoming a fan!

Programming Required by Certified Tech.
The seller has been very responsive to requests, but my requests is for information that should be listed in the product information. When I received this item it is boldly marked that for US customers the FCC requires that it be programmed by a Raymarine certified technician. The seller has told me to call Raymarine for assistance. I have found out from other sources selling this product that that is part of their service with purchase from their store.
