Amazing and hard to believe the change in my 17 years old cat! My cat suffered from severe constipation for over 2 years, and there was not a single dinner meal without laxatives. After 2-3 month on Instinct Raw Boost Freeze Dried for adults - years long problem is gone! Her behavior is changed as well - she stopped being intimidated by my extra large dog and goes everywhere she likes in the house, she sleeps well at night versus jumping on my head, scratching bath tub, and crying loud for hours at night. She must be feeling well! Thank you for the product!

Ok, so I’m doing the math here. My cat is about 10 lbs. The serving suggestion is a 1/4 cup a day for a 10 lb cat, which equates to 65 kcal. Ignoring the high potential for inaccurate cup measurements for these small cylindrical pieces…. We’re going to go with a different measurement: 2kcal/piece, so… …that equates to 32.5 pieces. A day. O_O I’ve attached a photo of what that looks like on a small plate. I don’t know that I could get my picky cat to eat 32 pieces of anything - even of their complete and balanced dry food that I’m attempting to supplement with this product because he’s a picky brat. The bag claims to have 20, 1/8 cup servings (Christ, really? Here we go again…) 1/8 cup === 32 kcal and at 2kcal/piece, equates to 16 pieces. 20 servings x 16 pieces = 320 pieces And for my cat, who apparently needs 32.5 pieces a day, this bag - as per their suggestion - equates to approximately 9.85 days of food…. Assuming he doesn’t get absolutely sick of it by day 2. At $18/9.85 servings, that’s about… $1.82/day, which is basically the cost of a can of wet food, give or take $1. And this is me assuming my cat won’t get any heavier than 10 lbs (at 10 months old? Fat chance). So, is this sustainable? Hell no. Is it a worthy supplement for my cat that barely eats his complete and balanced dry food and only eats limited ingredient wet food (see Dashi Delights by Inaba)? Also no. I think I’m going to have to get a more nutrient dense supplement. Does this mean this product doesn’t fit your own cats needs? Not necessarily. But it certainly doesn’t fit mine. Hopefully the calculation write up is helpful to all future purchasers.
