Effective Air Scrubber with cheap replacement Filters
Very happy with this product. I wanted something that was very quiet and it can barely be heard on the sleep setting. I move it between our master bedroom and our livingroom/kitchen area. The LR/Kitchen area is probably 1,200 sqft and it does a great job on the sleep setting. If we cook or the kids burn up some pop tarts, we bump it up to the low setting to clear it up fast. I like how the display shows the term "air quality" in green (good), yellow (fair) and red (bad). In the master bedroom, again on the sleep setting, it cleared out any remnants of our coonhound Winston in about an hour. This room is 14' x 20' ft, excluding the bathroom. Like with printer toner, most air purifiers charge high prices for their filter replacements. However, this one only runs $34 per filter. They recommend changing it our evey 3-6 months with it running 24/7. Again, very happy with this product.

Comparison Lunino E-200 Air Purifier to the Honeywell 50250S Air Purifier
I've had 5 of the Honeywell 50250S air purifiers over the past 30 years, they work very well until the fan motor fails which usually happens at about 5 years and that's running the machine almost 24/7. What I like about this machine: the air intake is 360 degrees around, it has a huge true Hepa filter with a charcoal pre-filter, cleans 465 sq ft of space up to 5 times per hour, and cleans it well (I can tell from the particles on the pre-filter after only a couple of months as shown in the picture) the filters are simple to change and replacements are easy to find on Amazon, and it has a handle so you can easily move it to other areas (but it is quite heavy, almost 21 lbs.). What I don't like about the Honeywell machine: It's loud even when on low (but I admit I use the medium speed as a noise filter so I don't hear traffic or even the neighbors dog barking while I'm sleeping and that works for me). I suppose it's loud because it's powerful enough to draw a great amount of air through a huge filter and push it back out 360 degrees. The blue light on the top cannot be turned off which is a problem at night if you like things dark while sleeping. Things to know: This model Honeywell machine has very basic features, a light that comes on around the on/off/3 fan speeds dial, and filter replacement indicators, which are just fine if you don't need or want a bunch of gadgets. Now about the Lunino E-200: I decided to try the Lunino E-200 because I wanted to try a different machine with more features (and this one was on sale and had a discount coupon too making it an inexpensive investment for a trial). It is smaller so it would be easier to move around and is supposed to clean a larger area, 1740 sq feet, but I find that is questionable. No where on box it came in or in the included product booklet does it indicate how many sq feet it covers. However, in the product description on the Amazon site it states that it covers 1740 sq feet, so I wonder if it actually does. Another thing that I question, is that the product booklet describes the filter as a 3 stage HEPA filter but doesn't indicate that it's a H13 HEPA filter. However, in the product description on the Amazon site it states the filter is a H13 HEPA. I will have to call the company on both questions to get an accurate answer. What I like about the Lunino: The machine is light weight (6.6 lbs.), there is only one filter to replace which is a combination 3 stage filter which is easy to change and hopefully will be easy to find replacements. The lights can be turned completely off while the machine is running on any speed, woo hoo!!!! The blue light on the front of the machine is a night or mood light which can be turned off independently from the display panel, and both can be turned off altogether which is a great feature for me because I like it completely dark while I am sleeping. It can be very quiet, when it's on sleep mode you can hardly hear the fan. But It can also be fairly loud on the highest fan setting, you may find you have to turn up the volume on your TV if it's in the same room. At the medium or high setting it works to block out unwanted noises while sleeping if you like that, as I do. I also like the timer, the auto mode, the child lock, and the filter reminder features. The aromatherapy feature is nice but in my opinion, it sort of defeats the purpose of having clean fresh air. The most interesting feature is the air quality monitor located on the display panel (the large blue light is NOT the air quality control monitor light, and it doesn't change colors). The words "Air Quality" on the control panel change colors (green-good, yellow/orange, not so good, and red, poor) to indicate when the quality of the air in the room changes. It does seem to work, I opened the front door for a few minutes to get something out of my car, when I came back in the panel color showing "Air Quality" had changed to orange, then it went to red! It took about a half hour on medium fan speed to change back to green. I don't know how accurate it is, but It's nice to know my inside air (which is air conditioned almost year round) is cleaner than the air outside, even though I live in FL about 1/2 mile from the beach and you'd think we be enjoying beautiful balmy sea breezes with no pollution, but not so. Ok, I know this is lengthy and I hope you're still reading... What I don't like about this machine: It needs a handle on top or some sort of grips on the sides so you can easily move it to other areas. Because even though it's light weight, the sides are smooth so it's difficult to grasp. The controls for changing the modes do not light up at all, so if you're in a dark room and you want to change a mode, you'll need to turn a light on in the room or have your flashlight handy! The control buttons are on the front of the machine so if you have it on the floor it's a bit inconvenient to see them, it would be more convenient to have them on the top of the machine. And last but not least, the power cord may be an eyesore to some because it's visible from the front of the machine as it's located on the right side near the bottom. Also, if your outlet is on the opposite side of the machine, you'll have to bring it behind the machine to the other side and that causes you to lose about 1.5 feet of cord length, and the actual cord is just under 5 feet long. So, It would have better to have placed the power cord in the center of the back near the bottom of the machine and here also, it wouldn't be visible from the front. So there you have it! I hope this review has been helpful. Update 9-14-24: So far it's working as expected, I just replaced the filter and I've had no issues with the machine. I keep it in the bedroom and I did notice, if you keep it on auto mode it will run on low speed until the air quality becomes unacceptable, then it kicks in to high fan and the air quality indicator turns red. It will cycle down the fan speed as the air becomes acceptable until it's green again. This may be annoying if you are a light sleeper, so my suggestion to keep it running quietly would be to keep it on night mode during the night or on low fan speed.

Just What You’re Looking For
This thing is awesome. Sleek, cool design with glowing blue lights that sits unobtrusively out of the way. Much better looking than I expected. It worked immediately on our lower floor, which doesn’t get a ton of airflow and is home to our catbox. Perfect size for the space, I’m glad I didn’t get anything smaller. We run it during the day - it’s surprisingly quiet and has been really effective at freshening the air down there. Definitely looking forward to trying it in other spaces during spring allergy season.

Quiet, Compact, and Great for Smaller Spaces (Love the Child Lock!)
I really like this air purifier, but I don’t agree with the claim that it covers up to 2400 sq. ft. That said, it has been perfect for our living room. It’s compact, quiet, and blends in easily without taking up much space. It runs quietly even for long periods, is easy to clean and maintain, and I’ve noticed a real improvement in air quality in the room we use it in. A big bonus is the child lock, which is great if you have a little one who loves pressing buttons — it keeps the settings exactly where you want them. I wouldn’t recommend this for large or open-concept spaces, but for bedrooms or living rooms, it works great and does exactly what we need.

CADR and CFM ratings
So far so good. It is making my room air quality noticeably better. I have a dog and work from home so my office gets dusty quickly. I will revisit this post later and update after a month or two. It is a bit noisy on high speed, but low and medium are good. FYI, the CADR for this unit is rated at 240 cubic meters per hour of about 141 CFM, so the 1700-2400 sq ft rating is for a 1-2 ACH (Air Changes per Hour) and I assume is with fan on high. with a 4-5 ACH target and 8 foot ceilings you are looking at a coverage more in line with 220 sq ft - like my office size. The reason you go with a 4-5 ACH is so you don't have to run it on high all the time to get the 1-2 ACH in real life. So running on auto/low/med I can achieve 1-2 ACH with very little noise.
