Nice little go to for those around the house projects. Good for referencing back to. Kinda old school but I like that it’s outdated honestly especially with an older house you need a simple solution

Highly practical and to the point.

I bought this book a couple of years ago and it still helps me do stuff around the house. This is a step-by-step guide for even the beginner DIYer. It gives you a parts list of all the materials you need to build a shed or a deck or patio and even comes with a DVD for those that would rather watch how to do it, instead of read about it. The people in the DVD are experts at what they do. This product is a perfect gift for anyone who is looking into starting to be a DIYer.

Great purchase for beginners or experienced carpenters!

Bought this book for my husband; didn't say it had writing on the inner cover, that couldn't be removed. Husband liked the content, but seller didn't state that it had writing in it. Good price for a used book, but not suitable for a gift.

This is a decent book for getting ideas along with basic instructions. You're not going to make yourself a master carpenter by reading one book that you can get enough information to do some good projects around the house. Will be moving into a new house soon and I can see myself using at least half of the products/plans in this printing.

My husband is a carpenter and very good with working on things in the home. He needed a little guidance for outdoor projects that he never had done before. This book was even great for me who has no knowledge or training in building or landscaping. The two of us redid our entire back yard and it looks wonderful....we added a deck, patio, retaining wall, and lots of plants. Now we are looking forward to working on the front yard next Spring. This book will definitely get more use.
