Convex Outdoor Driveway Traffic Mirror 9", for Parking Safety in Garages and Security in Stores with Adjustable Wall and Ceiling Fixing Bracket

Works as designed . I live at a top of the hill this mirror allows me to see down the hill to watch for incoming traffic.

I purchased two of them and installed them in my driveway attached to light poles. I constantly have joggers and bike ridders flying by my house and I fear that it was only a matter of time before i hit one of them or they hit my vehicle. So theses mirrors help me to view down the sidewalk and prevent a tragic accident.

I cant really say how well this will hold up to the weather as I just installed it but it seems sturdy, was easy to install and came with a couple of different setups to install it in a couple of different ways which was nice. It does the job! I bought the 12" thinking it was plenty big enough, but I probably should have bought the bigger size, so if you're questioning which size to buy, maybe go with the bigger one.

Over price item, does not measure 9", the diameter is a little less than 8.5 inches.

To make room for two cars in our garage, I wanted to park within a couple of inches of the garage side wall. The car is a Camry and it's rather hard to tell just where the front corner is as I sneak past the garage door vertical rail. My method has been to back in a couple of inches, get out and look, go a couple more inches, get out again, etc., etc. I did need to bend the mounting bracket a little to get the mirror to line up with the rail while viewing from inside the car, but it worked out okay. I was expecting to have to disassemble the mirror to remove the dust cover, based on other reviews, but it turned out there was a very slight wrinkle along one edge, maybe on purpose, so I was able to get a hold of the cover and it peeled right off. Once the cover was removed, I was impressed with how sharp and clear the mirror is, allowing me to slip by the door rail within just an inch or so for the perfect park job.

Perfect. Installs where I want it and gives me a good view of the side of my car as I need to drive my car in on an angle. Saves me needing a second person to help me park.

When I work in my shop I have my back to the large open door space. I mounted this on a book shelf I have so that when I look up I can see my driveway behind me. I think it works really well for this.

Utilisé pour sortir la voiture du garage avec une visibilité nulle. Placé sur le côté du portail, il permet d'avoir une visibilité sur la rue et le trottoir. La qualité optique est très bonne : la vue est claire, nette et non déformée. Donc plus de sécurité. Dans mon cas, je n'ai pas eu besoin de la pièce intermédiaire. J'ai fixé la rotule directement sur le support mural. Depuis environ 1 mois qu'il est installé, il n'a pas été dégradé par les intempéries. Juste le réglage qui a légèrement bougé lors de la dernière tempête. Je n'ai même pas eu besoin d'y retoucher du fait de son grand angle de vue. Après 5 ans, ce miroir est toujours aussi efficace. Je pense en commander un 2ème pour mettre de l'autre côté du portail.

Noterade den på garageporten. Nu kan jag se den trånga infarten och minska risken att kofångaren repas. Jättenöjd.
