Documentation sucks. Tube with filter attaches to the barb at bottom of fan and sits in the tank. Tube with cylinder at end goes around the nose of the fan to catch drips and send them to the tank. Appears to have usbA output (acts like a portable battery) and usbC input. No idea if the battery actually holds much energy; the "mAh" of a battery being "42800" doesn't tell you how much energy the battery holds without knowing the battery voltage (e.g. 3V, 6V, etc) which is suspiciously not disclosed. Takes several hours to charge. Can run directly off USB power too. The four ultrasonic transducers are great. I'm guessing they sit in a wet sponge, and the machine has a two and four transducer mode (half and full mist). The fan is only 6 inches, which is fine, and has a variable speed dial. Has LED lights, which is sort of a freebie I guess. Good value of the price is low enough. No idea on longevity. Ultrasonic transducers tend to die after a while, but the mist is ultra fine, much finer than you can get with any pump/sprayer based system. Overall, very surprising amount of quality.

However, the Oklahoma summers can be tough on the battery life, and I’ve noticed that as we head into winter, the battery doesn’t last as long as it did initially. Additionally, I experienced some slight clogging in the misting function, which can be a hassle to clean. The fan is also a bit top-heavy, making it easily tipped over if not placed securely.

Works much better than I anticipated. The battery lasts multiple nights on low setting.

Fan was good but only used it about 3 times and it quit blowing cold mist. Return window closed 30 days after purchase. Now im stuck with a fan that I probably won’t use cause without the mist its useless. I’ve only had it for 2 months. Uggg

This fan has been a must for me during the summer months, I liked the first one so much that I bought two more! It has a good mist, the fan speed and mister can be adjusted using the remote. I use all of them indoors, so I'm not sure how they work outside, it would probably have to be fairly close to get the best results, but overall I'm very happy with the purchases.

I thought this was some kind of a gimmick but it's actually really nice in the backyard. I wished it could be oscillating that water in different directions instead of just forward. I love that it has that large battery as it last for a good while depending on how you use it. If ur using it as a fan only, it last all night with still half battery left. I have bought misters in the past but they just did not work, this combo does what it says. And you will be cool but stay in the mist long enough and you might get damp or wet depending on the heat and humidity so adjust wisely

The fan part is great. The misting feature stoped working after less than a week of use. I'm giving this item 3 starts now because Amazon was very quick to replace the defective fan with a new one. If this one works like it is supposed to, I will give it more stars.

Honestly, I pictured it to be bigger, but it’s not as big as I thought that’s the only downfall and that it doesn’t rotate which description did not say it rotated so that was my bad. I do love that. It has the remote control. The mist is very thin and cool. I like the lights.
