Delicious treat…
This stuff is delicious but expensive so I limit to 1 brew per day, usually the late evening as it does not contain caffeine and does not keep me awake for hours.Do not make the mistake of thinking this is the equivalent of Cadburys Hot Chocolate powder which, whilst also delicious is a sugary and entirely unhealthy drink.Follow the instructions on the packet/website and you will be truly rewarded. It’s subtle but the aftertaste is undeniably delicious…

Delicious flavor, but requires the right brewing technique
The flavor of the Double Chocolate Light Roast is fantastic if you enjoy true dark chocolate. It definitely provides a punch of cocoa and vanilla flavor without any added sugar. However, there is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to brewing it. If you try to make it exactly like standard coffee grounds, it can turn out a bit thin. I found that letting it steep in a French press for a full 10 to 15 minutes with boiling water yields the best, most robust body. Once you get the technique down, it makes a very satisfying drink. The natural energy boost from theobromine is much gentler on the stomach than traditional coffee. I am giving it four stars instead of five just because it takes a bit more patience to brew properly, but the quality of the cacao itself is top-notch

Taste better than Coffee!
I love the taste, it's like a salty, bitter hot chocolate. You can probably adjust the ratios and get a smoother taste. But I already like it more than the black coffee I was drinking. I think the negative reviews are from people expecting it to taste like hot chocolate - which I'm sure you can get close to that if you add milk and sugar. I love that it has almost no caffeine and no sugar, and some

Ok.
Not like chocolate and not like coffee. I guess it wasn’t what I expected. I’m sure I could acclimate my taste over time. But I’m not much of a coffee drinker either, using cream and sweetener both. This was ok with sweeteners and a dash of cream.

Outstanding
This is everything I hoped it would be!!! I made one huge cup of it, dashed in italian sweet creamer and it was outstanding. The rest of the time i go 1 scoop to 3 coffee in my ninja drip and its a wonderful slight mocha touch. A bit pricey, but I will be purchasing more regardless.

Put it in a food processor first! Finer grind more flavor!
Grind it up before drinking it! Do not put it in a nice coffee grinder because it’s very oily and will gum it up, but you can put it in a food processor and get it down to at least a course coffee grind. This in my opinion has a tendency to double the flavor. Really quite delicious, and I like the jitter free energy boost. Also research seems to indicate that this has quite a few different health benefits. Just wish it wasn’t 18 bucks.
