Authentic Wakame!
Great seaweed flakes! Used in Beef ramen and miso soup, really helps get that authentic flavor. The pieces are small when dried and really get big when they rehydrate. Crumble them up small otherwise you will have huge sheets floating around.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars - Exceptional Quality and Flavor
As someone who makes homemade Miso Soup weekly, I’ve tried countless brands of dried wakame, but these Korean Dried Wakame Seaweed Flakes truly stand out. The 2 oz bag offers incredible value, but more importantly, the quality of the sea vegetable itself is second to none.

A great addition to miso soup and more.
Unha's Wakame Seaweed Flakes are easy to prepare. I have been putting some time into understanding how to authentically prepare Miso Soup and learning which commercial Miso Soup mixes I like best. Part of this has been trying different add-ins. One item that can be both an ingredient & add-in is a seaweed called Wakame. Unha's Asian Snack Box Korean Premium Baby Wakame Dried Seaweed Flakes is quite good. There is a non-flake version as well. Both are pretty much the same, but some may like smaller pieces better, especially if you do not want too much seaweed in your cups and bowls of Miso. I subscribed to the flakes, but sometimes, I'm sent the non-flake version. Note: Some brands of Wakame recommend rinsing and soaking. You should test your different brands independently. I rinsed and then soaked Unha's for over 15 minutes. That was too long. After I drained and put it into my soup pot and brought the heat up, Unha's seaweed flakes were way too mushy and slimy. Rinsing and soaking it for 3 to 5 minutes and then putting it in the soup has been plenty for me. On my food prep agenda is to try Unha's seaweed in a salad. I have never had a wakame salad or any kind containing wakame. Unha's might want to make some recipes available to those unfamiliar with Japanese-style food prep and cooking.

Great quality and tastes so good in my tofu miso soup! This is the third time I’ve ordered and I’ve always been very happy with the wakame.
