Good Tv
Picked this up as a birthday present for my daughter and she’s been over the moon with it. The picture is sharp, colours look great, and the built‑in apps run smoothly without any faffing around. Sound quality is surprisingly decent for a TV this size, and setup only took a few minutes. For a bedroom TV, it’s been spot‑on and she’s really happy with it.

Vibrant Picture and Smart Features, Minor Sound Drawback
I’ve been using this TCL 40” Full HD QLED TV for a while now, and overall I’m very pleased with it. The picture quality is excellent for a Full HD set — colours are vibrant, brightness is impressive, and the QLED panel really makes a difference compared to standard LED TVs. It’s especially good for movies and streaming, with sharp detail and strong contrast. The built-in Fire TV system is a big plus. It’s easy to navigate, responsive, and gives quick access to apps like Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube. Alexa voice control works well for searching content and controlling basic functions, which is convenient once you get used to it. Sound quality is decent for everyday viewing, but it’s not particularly powerful — fine for news and TV shows, but you may want a soundbar for movies. The setup process was mostly straightforward, though it took a little time for updates during the initial installation. Overall, this is a very good TV for the price, offering excellent visuals and smart features in a compact size. It loses one star only due to average sound and minor setup quirks, but I’d still happily recommend it.

Good TV
Seems like a decent and well priced Smart TV so far. Only time will tell though. Never bought this brand before but it gets good reviews so I thought I would take a chance on it. This QLED model has a very good picture, very crisp and vibrant. A few years ago this level of picture quality would have cost a fortune. it's easy enough to set up and has pleny of features and It integrates well with my other Fire devices. It's a great screen for my games consoles and I can now play my Series X games at 120hz. The operating system can be slightly laggy at times but it's tolerable and you get used to it. Not really an issue for me. Sound quality is OK but I would recommend a sound bar. Build quality is respectable and the stands are sturdy enough. The remote is good and functions perfectly. At 300 quid I'm not expecting many years of use, I think folks are realising these days that TV's just don't last as long as they used to,. if I get three years out of it i'll be happy. It's a bargain just for the picture quality alone.

Brilliant TV
Perfect TV. I have a small room but with it on a wall mount - it's great for what I need. I thought it was easy enough to set up. Just a small fight with Disney+ app, but that was easy enough to work around. The sound isn't terrible to me, but I might very well end up investing in a sound bar in the future. For now, it was an excellent buy. I think the already installed apps are brilliant and you can add ones you want. Plenty of points to attach your consoles, a dvd player etc which I think is important. The picture quality is crisp and clear. All in all, a very happy customer.

It’s ok not great
It’s a great tv for the price but there is a few issues 1 it takes ages when you turn the tv on with hdmi ARC to find sound 2 when u first turn tv on it takes ages to load anything feels very sluggish 3 also when you press guide it takes ages to load like a massive delay and you no it’s delayed cos it makes sounds when u click things so when I click guide u hear it then takes ages to appear Maybe it’s due a software update at some point had a replacement tv sent to me worked for 2 days then started doing the same things not happy with this product

Solid Budget 4K TV With Great Picture, Just Occasional Freezes
I’ve been using the TCL 43PF650K 43” 4K Fire TV for a couple of months now, and overall it’s been a very solid upgrade for the price. Picture quality is the biggest win here. 4K content looks crisp, colours are vivid, and Dolby Vision definitely helps movies pop. Even regular HD channels upscale nicely, so day-to-day watching feels sharp and clear. The brightness is good enough for both daytime and evening viewing, and the viewing angles are decent for a mid-range LED panel. Sound is surprisingly good too. With Dolby Atmos support, the audio feels fuller than most TVs in this price bracket. For casual watching, you don’t really need an external soundbar. Fire TV integration is smooth, with all the main apps — Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+, etc. Navigation is quick most of the time and Alexa voice control works well. The only downside: Every now and then the TV hangs or freezes for a few seconds. It’s not constant, but when it happens it’s annoying and interrupts the smooth experience. A quick restart usually sorts it, but still something to note. Overall: A great value 4K TV with strong image quality, good sound, and all the smart features you need. If TCL improves the occasional software hiccup, it would be perfect. Perfect for anyone who wants a solid, affordable 4K experience without breaking the bank. Came without any damage to the screen.
