Wonderful French Tea Pot will keep your tea hot!
I really wanted the 2 cup but the 4 cup will be perfect to share with my husband. I have had the wonderful tea pot a few years ago at a lovely inn. I’m so happy to be able to enjoy a hot cup of tea in this great French Tea Pot!

The Perfect Tea Pot
Beautiful tea pot! Great design including tea leaf basket, lined, mirrored cozy, and of course the pot itself. The placement and shape of the handle and spout provide balance, comfort and absolute efficiency when pouring even a full pot. Looks great on the table too!

Teapot Cover Porcelain Knob Comes Off!
Mine came perfectly packaged (I requested gift packaging from Amazon), wrapped in bubble wrap, when I took it out of the box the porcelain top fell off! I really like the teapot so I requested a replacement. It came wrapped inside another box for the gift packaging but wasn’t bubble wrapped. So the box jostled inside causing the teapot to rattle around while shipping. Needless to say, it arrived with the porcelain knob already off and the shiny cover damaged from the loose porcelain rattling around while in transit. Also, the body of the teapot was scratched due to the metal cozy/cover also rattling around. All in all such a disappointment and what a hassle. I decided to use Gorilla Glue to glue the porcelain finial from the first pot as I liked the item so much. But for $134 I don’t expect to have to DIY it in order to make an item work as it should. This is especially disappointing as the item is Made in France. The teapot itself is beautiful (once the knob was fixed). It keeps your tea hot for about an hour if you pre-warm the pot by pouring boiling water first, emptying it then steeping your tea with just boiled water. The spout pours well but it does have a tendency to leak if you don’t catch the first drop that’s hanging after you pour.

The best teapot I’ve ever had.
I really like this teapot. The insulated lid covers the body of the pot and keeps the tea warm for a second cup. It cleans up well and will last a long time, unless you drop it on the floor as I did with my last one. It’s expensive but it is a quality item.

The Best Teapot I Have Owned
A fantastic teapot! I wouldn't be without it. If the pot is warmed before the tea water is added, the tea stays hot for a very long breakfast.

Poor Quality control, missing a hole.
The teapot is absolutely lovely. Stunning design. The problem lies with quality control. There is a metal lid for the inner teapot. I believe that lid is supposed to attach to the inner portion of the outside cover with a screw going through both pieces and then threaded into the outer knob on top. There was no hole drilled through the inner metal lid though. Multiple reviews stated the same problem I had, which was the knob was loose. I tried using leather washers to bridge the gap which was not a satisfactory solution. I gave this “luxury” teapot to my parents as a gift and should not have had to make any improvements. I only discovered the inner lid should have had a screw hole through it when I saw a similar design (probably an old Knock-off) at an antique store this weekend with the inner lid attached to the outer lid. I had to drill the hole myself. Unacceptable quality control.
