LEGO Technic Volvo Concept Wheel Loader ZEUX 42081 Building Kit (1167 Pieces)

- A+: The kit is fine from an engineering and quality POV. - F-: The dozens of non-reusable, unlabeled, unsorted parts bags are a horrible handicap. I bought this kit to enjoy the assembly process, but that enjoyment was overwhelmed by the mindless tediousness of digging thru 1,150 (or so) sometimes tiny and/or similar parts for each and every part (I think there are 82+ different types) I needed. That takes hours in total. Assembly takes a few minutes for the kit itself. Suggestion: dedicate an hour and an open table (3'x4' minimum) to lay out and separate all the parts into sensible piles. Your sanity will be less degraded during assembly.

I got this for my husband's birthday. When he opened it he said he'd hadn't seen this particular Lego, which I thought was odd, because he has a several page list of all the Legos he'd like. As to the question "easy to assemble" I gave it 1 star because it took my husband several days to put it together, so to me, it's a challenge, not easy.

My son has many of the Technic kits and this is one of the best. The four wheels steer, bucket tilts, bucket raises & lowers, body rises up and you can make the alternate 2 in 1 PEGAX!

Wow! This was an awesome build. It took my 9 year a while to build it and now he loves playing with it. Like all legos play lightly.

This thing is massive! Very well designed. Everything works great! And it was a fun build... normally not that case with a Technic build. I'm very happy with it.

Great looking set and fun build

Less challenging than it appears to be. Did not take that long to be assembled better for younger students.

El set de Volvo está excelente, armarlo fue un reto de algunas horas, ya armé ambos modelos. La ingeniería del modelo A está muy bien desarrollada, las calcomanías se ven de excelente calidad, lego nunca decepciona. Lo único que no me gustó fue que al armar el modelo B al finalizar queda mucha pieza sin usarse. Hubiese estado muy bien aprovechar al máximo todo. No me arrepiento de nada.

I got this for my husband for Christmas. He loved it. The complexity was perfect and he had a lot of fun building it with my son.
