Built-in SSD facility makes for less clutter than an external SSD and quick transfer speeds. Installing an internal SSD is very easy, with the screws and screwdriver supplied, and runs silently. The USB-A slots on the front allow connection of older devices that don't have USB-C, without fiddling around at the back of the MacMini. The cut-out in the rear of the device makes it really easy to turn the MacMini on and off, without picking the device up. My only design request would be to have a headphone/speaker socket on the rear, so you could connect external speakers without the plug and wire being permanently visible on the front of the MacMini (Apple design fault). That's why it only gets four stars, not five, as they missed a trick. (Luckily I could connect my external speakers through a monitor socket).
