Cherry G86-6340 POS Keyboard Review: Literally the best if your a beginner - I’ve never used or programmed a macro keyboard before but this was super simple and easy. It’s important to note that the Cherry utility software will not work with this. You need to access the cherry tools by downloading it on cherrys website (use the downloads tool and put the keyboard model in) and to whoever recommended the 0.55x0.55 size thank you! Perfect for my application. I use this keyboard to act as a full layout of the GrandMA3 command section You can find the cherry tools software by going to Program files > CHERRY > Designer. It will not say cherry tools but it is in there and it’s super simple from there. Thanks! Review: Great product and easy to use - The Cherry Keyboard was just as described and the programming was easier than I expected. I would order again from them.

Fantastic Companion for AutoHotKey
This keyboard is absolutely perfect as a macro board. The Cherry Tools software thats used to configure the keys, although dated looking, is incredible easy to use and gets the job done. Additionally, you can assign up to 10 key strokes to a single key that is stored on the keyboard itself which lets you take any of your macros with you to any other computer. I personally use the keyboard with AutoHotKey to make video editing and streaming a lot easier and the included key covers are very nice as well. If you're looking to print your own labels, do 0.55in x 0.55in at at least 600ppi. They fit perfectly and look like they belong in there. The switches are rubber dome which aren't exactly the best feeling if you're using this to actually type, however, I find them extremely satisfying to press for single strikes. The keys are also incredibly stable. If you're looking for a keyboard to use as a macro board, I can't imagine finding a better bang for your buck product.

Keyboard is easy to program.
I bought this keyboard for my STARS simulator, and I was not disappointed. This keyboard is extremely easy to set up, and it is very easy to program. The keyboard is slightly larger than most others I have, but it is comfortable to use nonetheless. Keyboard is built great, with very little flex when being used.

Ancient UI, but a good product
If you don't mind an ancient UI for setup it's a rock solid product. Oddly, you can't do every key command with the built in programming, but shortcomings are covered by their software keying.

DIY ETC Nomad controller
I used this keyboard to make my own lighting controller to use with my Nomad. I really like it except that keys are hard to find for it. Even though it is Cherry brand they key caps have a different connection. The keys Go, Stop and Enter are horizontal keys but the configuration only allows for it to be vertical. I had to 3d print an Enter button that fits over an existing key. Just be aware of this. You can buy a kit with lots of extra keys for $35 and make it more like an Ion. But this works and I like it. Great buy.

Unbelievable
This is a fantastic keyboard for people working with video or photo apps. 142 keys you can program to you liking. WoW.

okay
it works fine, would rather have received the one without the + and enter keys for the numbers and it limited me by 2 keys, not too important though.
