Once opened it has lasted for me at least 7 days - don't know about longer than that b/c I use it all by 7th day. It's great to have real milk I can store for long periods of time and taste is great. Perfect for lactose intolerant ppl.

If you spend any time in Europe, you will soon learn that virtually all of the milk over there is sold this way. It is shelf-stable without refrigeration for months. Once you crack it open, you put it in the fridge and it keeps from that point just like regular U.S. milk. Does it taste or perform any differently? Nope. It is just milk that has been ultra-pasteurized, vs regular U.S. milk that has only been pasteurized and therefore must stay cold until used. Unfortunately, you have to pay more for it over here because it isn't the standard way to buy milk. But it is incredibly convenient to just have a bit of extra milk sitting on the pantry shelf for those rare occasions when you run out and getting to the store is a hassle. We keep a few boxes of this stuff on hand at all times. It is also good for traveling, power outages, etc. I just wish it wasn't so expensive over here.
