Review: Great Slim Articulating Borescope for the Price - Great articulating borescope and a very good value for the price. The 5.5mm camera is very slim, which allows it to fit through almost all spark plug holes and makes it great for checking cylinder walls, valves, and other tight areas. The picture quality is good, the camera works nicely, and the articulation makes a huge difference compared to a normal fixed borescope since you can actually look around inside the cylinder instead of only seeing straight ahead. Overall, it seems to hold up well as long as you use it properly and don’t abuse the articulating end. My only complaint is that I wish they included attachments like a hook or magnet for this slim model like they do with some of the thicker models. For the price, though, it’s a great value and much more useful than a basic non-articulating borescope.

Great articulating borescope and a very good value for the price. The 5.5mm camera is very slim, which allows it to fit through almost all spark plug holes and makes it great for checking cylinder walls, valves, and other tight areas. Was skeptical at first about this borescope, but once I received it and used it for the first time I was definitely impressed by it. Decent quality overall but very clear at about 1 1/2" to 6" which is going to be the range that you're going to be using this the most. I have been most impressed by the articulating head which comes in handy all the time with the ability to look 180° from the approach angle is especially useful. The light is plenty bright for use in most situations. The 6' cable length is perfect for most jobs. You are able to take pictures and videos with it which makes showing the customer the problem easier. One of my more recent diagnosis I was able to preform because of this was a cracked cylinder wall in a block on a engine that was having misfiring issues, being able to go into the cylinder, see the crack, take pictures, and show the customer all witout taking the engine apart is a huge gamechanger. Functionality is great for most automotive and maintenance work. Good value at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend for anyone needing a borescope.
