Forty Eighty 8" Studio Monitor Speaker for Production and Mixing with Precision DSP Crossover, EQ, Control App and Bluetooth

Well my first time getting a studio monitor and it work so good with Bluetooth or on my interface. Looking to upgrade my interface also. The clarity and bass boom is good.

UPDATE: It seems that the popping sound occurs when BT pairing is lost. My solution was to forget the speakers in my phone's Bluetooth settings. Sound quality is pretty good. Being able to change settings, including equalizer settings, with my cell phone is an excellent feature. Bluetooth pairing and connection are easy to set up and stable. The speakers feature DSP internal crossover, EQ, trim control, XLR and TRS analog inputs. I use them with an HR SMSL DAC. What I didn’t like: - The speakers don’t go into standby mode, and you would need to power off each speaker individually. - I can confirm that the speakers tend to make random extremely loud static popping sound which can only be described as a small explosion and made me literally duck and cover when it happened first time. I actually went outside to make sure a meteorite didn't crash through the roof of my house and the beams supporting the roof didn't fail all at once. This mini explosion is more powerful than any 1000-watt speaker, which is quite an achievement for a 100-watt speaker. Consider this a courtesy public alert and be prepared to duck occasionally when the capacitor in one of your speakers decides to discharge without a proper warning.

As expected, a superior unit. Shipping was very fast from germany to the middle east.

Bluetooth connection is very poor, speakers in TWS mode lose connection if there is even monitor between them. But sound is great

Beastly monitor. Packs a giant punch and sounds crisp and clean. Can't even push it to max levels because of neighbors getting annoyed. The bass response is powerful, and the mids and highs are clean. The Bluetooth functionality is very good too. The units are heavy, well built, and very nice to look at. Make sure you measure out room as their size is not to be ignored. Well worth their price and better than the competition.
