Unless you have a whole lot of watches that you want to attach bands to, this kit is overkill. But for the price, it seemed silly not to choose it over smaller options that cost almost as much. The variety of different pin lengths will probably cover just about every watch and band combination in existence, and the number of pins will ensure that I and any watch-owning descendants will be able to attach bands indefinitely. It took some fiddling to get the pin in place, but that was mainly because of my inexperience. The little tool you use for setting the pin is well-made, and works well once you get the hang of it. The bins in the compartmented box that holds the pins are not labeled by size, so it's trial and error until you find the right one. If you ever tip the box over, it could take days to re-sort the contents. I'm happy with this purchase and would buy it again. But unless I manage to lose it, I will never need to.

I found a watch from my grandfather a few months back and I needed to get new spring bars they fit pretty good and seem good quality however the remover tools aren't the best and I ended up just using my fingernails to pop them into my watch

Why would you make a plastic box with 360 small pieces in it with no way to keep the box closed! Don’t buy unless you want your pieces going everywhere. Other than that, it’s as advertised.

If you wear a watch you really should have one of these! If you go to a Jeweler to have a link replaced they will keep your watch for 1-2 days AND charge you 20$ To be clear the link this product is referring to is the part that holds the band to the watch itself! Many smart watches have metal links in them as well as any old fashioned watch. This set has served me well! I not only replaced my own watch link but have replaced links for 3 other people. It is a safe bet that if you work in a business selling trinkets you could easily make money fixing watch bands for people!

Impressed with this. The l was st time I bought spring bars it took about a day for them to all get muddled up which tripled the amount of time to find the right one for the job. The tool is really good as well and comes with several replacement heads for both ends (handy if you end up wrestling a rubber strap off a vintage dive watch that hasn’t had the spring bars changed in 30 years! ) this would be a 6 out of 5 if not for two minor irks. - it’s a shame the contents aren’t weighted towards the most popular sizes as, much like the strawberry creams in the Christmas Roses tin, those 8 and 10mm spring bars will be staring ar me mournfully long after their more useful friends have left the nest. - you’ll need a bit of a nail to encourage each bar to leave its section of the box - or you face the horror of the worst game of jenga ever
