Works well, lowers SSD temps by quite a bit, especially if theres active airflow.

I ordered the ELUTENG M.2 SSD Heatsink set for my NVMe drives, and it does exactly what I needed — keeps the SSD temperatures under control during heavy workloads. The kit comes with four heatsinks, thermal pads, and rubber straps, which makes installation straightforward, even if you haven’t worked with M.2 drives much before. The build feels sturdy and fits snugly on both my PC and PS5 SSDs without clearance issues. That said, the rubber straps can feel a bit tricky to secure the first time, and I wish the thermal pads were slightly thicker for a tighter grip. Still, for the price, you’re getting good value and peace of mind knowing your drives won’t overheat. I’d recommend it to anyone upgrading their PC or adding an SSD to a PS5.

They're cheap, and they do what they're supposed to. I saw drive temps in a low-airflow system go from the 70°C range to the high 50°C range using these heatsinks. They get heat off the NVMe and controller chips, and make it easier for it to convect or be blown away. That's about it. They're not like the insane ThermalRight heat pipe heatsinks, but they fit more nicely in more systems. I do have some qualms about the rubber bands over long periods of time, but that's a minor gripe for the price.
