Quality Assurance & Why 250 mg
Good formula & rated high on Consumer Labs. Note: they are 250 mg because body can only absorb 500 mg at a time & excess calcium is not good (look up calcium supps on Mayo Clinic site). So space them apart & check how much calcium you already getting from food.

1000mg dose requires 4 large capsules
This product is pretty well-reviewed by several health publications and is one of the more bio-available forms of calcium on the market. It’s also supposed to be gentler on the stomach than calcium carbonate. The one major drawback to this product to me is the size. Each capsule is very large (the largest out of my vitamin routine by far) & the 1000mg dose requires you to take FOUR of the giant capsules. I guess if you really wanted to you could probably empty the capsules out into a smoothie or something but it’s a lot to swallow.

Deceptive Marketing
These are only 250mg per capsule, not 1,000mg, which I thought I was taking. Seems like deceptive marketing, which can be an issue for folks who need more than 250mg per day. I’ll find a different brand which is not so deceptive
