US Toy Company 2386 Farm Animals, 12 piece

I liked that they didn't look like plastic. It was used for a farm scene at Christmas time. Very satisfied!

Great with helping little ones identify animals. These guys were a little too small. I had hoped they would be as big as the palm of an adult's hand.

I have a huge Christmas village and am always looking for people for my village or animals for my farm or animals for my wild areas. These animals are just the perfect size for my farm. Some are a little off colored, but since I paint, I can paint them to look more realistic if I want to at a later date. Sure wish I could find people like they have animals!!

Purchased these farm animals for a play barn that my husband's grandfather made. After looking at several dollar stores, this was by far the cheapest we found farm animals! The quality of the product is okay, some of the animals are disproportionate from the others (i.e. the rooster is as large as a cow), but otherwise a good buy for the price! The sheep has an odd green color on one side, but it's perfect for kids who won't care what the animals look like! Would definitely recommend as a kid's toy item, especially based on the price!

My daughter loves her animals and loves picking out the right animal after I name one. Therefore, with a little parental attention, these there make a great learning tool. And since they are realistic looking (though not to scale of course), she is learning what these animals actually look like compared to cartoonish animals typically found as children toys. I suspect she will tire of them eventually as they have no moving parts, but they're great for my one year old now.

These animals were basically what I was expecting - cheap plastic animals. I did not get all of the same animals pictured. There's one I don't even know whether to call it a cow or a goat. There was a hole in the original bag and it had been encased in another clear plastic bag but it only contained 11 animals instead of 12. I tried a few links to contact the company but each was basically a dead end.

It's funny because I got this for my two-year-old grandson for his birthday as a side gift to go along with a Toy Barn. Despite how inexpensive these animals were, they turned out to be his favorite gift. I was amazed. He uses them with the barn and then loads them up in his Tonka truck and trucks them around the house. He practices counting and identifying animals. I think a made a good choice with these.

These farm animals are not cartoons--they are very realistic-looking. Any farmer would be proud to own them. My grandson enjoys playing with them and uses his blocks to make pens for them. I appreciate the variety.

Great size. They do have a very chemical smell but with washing and airing them out it came out.
