I was skeptical about paying what seemed like a lot for a length of nylon cord, but this collar is well-designed, lightweight, adjustable, with a breakaway safety feature, and has a ring large enough to attach my kitty's license and his tag (it says, "Indoor-only cat...if I'm out, I'm lost"...thanks, desertcart!). Even with the weight from the tags, no neck sores or scatching. If your cat doesn't do well with ordinary collars, this is worth a try. My cat was fine with it right from the start. Even after a week with no collar, he didn't mind it at all. Note...slides on, then slides to adjust. No buckle...and don't use the safety breakaway clip to open and close the collar.
