Spigen Athlex Air for Apple Watch Band, Lightweight Adjustable Strap

I have gone through SO many bands over the years, since the first iteration of an Apple Watch. I preferred magnetic ones that were quick and easy to get on and off. But most were junk after a month or two, some actually had some nasty substance inside that ended up leaking and injuring the skin on my wrist. This one - total game changer. No fiddling to get a band through a slot like most velcro watches, no nasty bands with toxic goo inside of them. Years of bands, and this one gets everything right. Slide the hand through, cinch and secure the flap. Quick and easy on and off every time. And it's comfortable to boot. No moisture buildup between this and the skin as so many of those plastic and rubbery ones do, since this can breathe and let that moisture out. No doubt, best watch band I've ever owned. LOVE this thing. Would've loved it even more on my older watches that had to be charged more often, since with my new Ultra watch I only have to charge every three days or so and so I don't have to take it off as often. If you're considering it, just get it. You won't be disappointed.

Quality is great. Looks great too. Attachments appear to be metal vs the heavy plastic ones on the OEM sport loop. Although the attachments are black, they blend with the midnight blue on my Apple Watch Series 9. The material feels nice and soft against my skin, and I like the slide band to secure and tighten the band on my arm. I wish it had 1 or 2 more hook pads (the OEM band has 4 or 5) as added security, but I haven't had the velcro detach without my pulling on the tab. But at less than half the price of the OEM band, this is a good value. I do request an orange stitching nano pop option with the navy blue (rep my alma mater :)).

Very comfortable band for my Apple Watch Ultra 2. Bought the black/orange version and it looks really good with the black watch. It dries very fast if it gets wet as well, which is a great plus. It's very easy to adjust and stays put once you have it on. Overall a perfect replacement for the Apple OEM band at a great price.

As a long-time fan and truster of Spigen products, I was thrilled when they announced the Athlex Air band, especially knowing it was compatible with the Apple Watch Ultra. Right out of the box, it lives up to the Spigen standard – it feels well-made, looks stylishly rugged without being too bulky, and is genuinely comfortable for all-day wear. It complements the Apple Watch Ultra perfectly. The "sliding technology" for adjustment is an interesting concept and likely works great for many. However, this is where I ran into my only issue. As someone with relatively small wrists, the one-size-fits-all approach doesn't quite cut it for me. Even on the tightest setting possible with the slider, I can't achieve the truly snug fit I prefer, especially for activities. For general daily wear, the fit is acceptable. But when I go running or swimming, the slight looseness causes the watch to wiggle on my wrist. This movement unfortunately leads to the heart rate monitor losing consistent contact, which impacts the reliability of workout tracking. Overall, the Spigen Athlex Air is a fantastic band in terms of design, comfort, and build quality. If you have average to larger wrists, I suspect you'll absolutely love it. But if you have smaller wrists and need a very secure fit for accurate fitness tracking during high-movement activities, be aware that you might encounter the same looseness issue I did. Despite this sizing limitation for me, it's still a quality Spigen product.

I was hesitant to purchase this band, but I am very happy that I did. It is so easy in one shot to get the perfect fit. Even if you make it too tight or too loose, it is so easy and quick to make a small adjustment. The comfort is excellent. Absolutely excellent. Spigen is hit or miss with me. Half of their stuff is great, the other half is not so great. KUDOS to them, for this watch band.

Great fit, very comfortable

Was amazed at the quality and how comfortable the band felt…especially given the price compared to Apple’s band prices. I can wear the band all day without any fatigue or chaffing. I mainly bought this for running, so it does get wet from sweat. However, i found cleaning to be really easy with just a dap of laundry detergent and running it under water in the sink. The only question is how well the velcro aspect will last, but after a month there’s no sign of it failing soon.

Attractive and seemingly excellent quality, the watch is easy to attach my Watch Series 11 to my wrist. It’s an excellent value. I now own two of these bands, blue and green. Curiously, the hook and loop fastener is noticeably stronger on one band than the other though both are acceptable. One note of caution: the description says that it will work with a wrist size as small as 6.1”. However, my wrist measures at 6 3/4” and if my wrist was any smaller, the band would fit too loosely because the end of the band is already secured as closely as possible to the watch.

Spigen siempre ha significado para mi una buena marca. Sus productos nunca me han defraudado. La correa es sumamente comodísima (cual si fuese la original de Apple). Soy de realizar senderismo o trote cinco dias a la semana y el tiempo que lo llevo puesto super cómodo.

These will suit larger wrists, overall great band and a different design which is a plus.
