Can something like this be worn to correct forward head (bad neck posuture)?

Aspen Vista now has a new collar specifically for Forward Head Carriage, the Aspen Vista MultiPost Therapy CollarUnfortunately, as of August 1 2017 it is not yet on Amazon but it is available elsewhere.For more information go to www.aspenmp.com and search for "therapy collar".I have moderate Forward Head Carriage (but not officially diagnosed) but I have not tried that collar.

I'm not sure what you mean by free size, but the collar is adjustable to several different positions.

I'd like to make a further clarification to my answer. The velcro is very secure, so you can leave one side of the collar affixed to the velcro while putting the collar around your neck and affixing the other side of the velcro. BTW, $40 is a very good price. I purchased my collar through medical supplier recommended by my doctor and approved by my insurance. The cost was $100. I purchased an additional collar on Amazon to send to my sister's house (so I would have one there during my stays). I paid $80 for the one I purchased on Amazon. So $40 is a great price. Good luck.
