Amazing protection for our 10month old. We have hardwood floors and the thought of him falling backwards (as babies do when they are learning to stand and walk) scared us to death. His little backpack pillow is so cute and easy to put on and not bulky at all. It even has a little squeaker in it so when he does fall back, it squeaks!

You may have seen this product from a non-amazon brand and the price point felt too high. This is a decent dupe but you do get what you paid for. I got both the fancy branded one and this chinese-esque knockoff and the main difference is that this one's head padding is a little thin. The branded one had a nice thick round donut behind the head. This one is thinner and fine if your baby is falling back against a thin carpet or any kind of padded floor, but I think if it was direct to hardwood/stone flooring, your baby will probably still get a decent knock to the noggin. It's better than nothing and to be fair you probably shouldn't be letting your kid out of your sight for super long anyways. But if your kid is in a padded play pen, just learning their footing, and you need to step away for a few minutes? This will definitely suffice to catch their *backward* tumbles. Also slight critique that the shoulder straps slide off my kid's shoulders a bit, I wish I could secure it tighter but I think it's elastic on purpose to move with them when they're crawling/etc. It's not a deal breaker and the backpack stays where it should be.

These r so cute on my kids, we did have to exchange ge one cause the straps were sewn on backwards but they were really good about fixing it. I bought these for my 9 month twins after they started cruising the furniture and had a scary fall. Easy to put on. Haven't had a fall with them on but seems like it will protect if they fall back

This would probably work great if your baby will tolerate wearing it. Bought two- one for granddaughter and the other for the grandson. They played with it more than they would wear it without fussing. In the end it was determined that adult supervision was the best answer.
