Perfect pulled pork!
I decided to purchase this thermometer after seeing excellent reviews on AmazingRibs.com, and I was not disappointed! I've done a 10lb pork shoulder and a whole chicken already, and they were just perfect! The meat probes seem to correlate extremely well with my handheld digital thermometer, so I was happy with that. My only issue was that the ambient probe didn't correlate at all with my dome thermometer. I know, I know... The ambient probe should be the more accurate of the two! My dome temp runs about 20-50 degrees lower than the digital probe read. However, when I was slow rolling at 250F digital for the pork shoulder, the meat absolutely failed to come out of its stall. When I let my Kamado Joe rise back up to 250F on the dome thermometer, the stall finally ended and my shoulder started to cook again. I think the final cook time was close to 20hrs! When I did the whole chicken, I used the dome thermometer as my baseline, which worked very well. I then used the meat probe to determine when the cook was done. Perfect! Overall, I highly recommend this device. Well priced, durable and very easy to use! My only suggestion would be to play around a bit with your digital probe-to-dome temps before you invite the family over for a BBQ just to make sure you know your cook zones.

This is the Probe you are looking for....
I seldom write reviews....it has to be an exceptional product or a piece of junk before I take time to advise others. This in an exceptional product. I grill and/or smoke meat several times per week and have used this product 15-20 times already. Whether I'm doing a long slow cook on a brisket or cooking medium rare beef tenderloins....this multi temp probe unit is the key. It is easy to use and has remained flawless for accurate read-out. If I plug in all 4 of the probes they will read within 1 degree of each other (other units I've owned were all over the place and lacked accuracy). This comes in very handy when grilling steaks for company that requires doing some at "medium rare" and some at "medium". The only thing I am not able to comment on, is the long term durability. It appears to be very well made, but I have only used it for a few months so far. CK

Works Perfect!
This thing is spot on! Checked it in boiling and freezing water and probes are accurate! I love this thermometer, i no longer have to tend to my stick burner near as much, i place a probe on the racks and one in the meat and both are spot on! It has great distance, never had an issue with being too far away. I sit inside and drink beer...got the receiver right next to me to see my temps and love the low/high temp setting! Had a TP20 and it was GARBAGE! Returned it after first use. Spent a few extra bucks on this gem and have regretted it once!

Works good, love the remote wireless unit
I've enjoyed this thermometer for the past year. My old one died and it didn't have a remote unit, and I guess I didn't know what I was missing. I picked this up to replace my old one and it's so nice having the remote unit. No more going out to check on the grill or oven, or listening for the beep from another part of the house. I just bring the remote with me and keep an eye on it. I haven't wandered too far with it but it definitely works on another floor on the other end of the house, so that's all I need. My one gripe now is that one of the 4 probes failed. Curiously it failed almost exactly 1 year from my order date - go figure. The other 3 still work and I'll just use those for now and if another fails, I'll order some replacements. I haven't had the need to use more than a couple at a time so I can live without one or two if I have to.

Great thermometer and very accurate
Great product. My husband has been wanting this for quite some time. Bonus is that it came with two extra thermometers for this particular one. It’s easy to read and very accurate. I like that it has an extra reader that you can carry around to monitor temperature, especially for smoking or slow grilling. Only con is that it came in a thin plastic envelope with no padding, so the case it came in was broken in pieces. I was going to just order another and return this one but they were out of stock (and still are). I decided to keep it anyhow as it was intended for a Christmas gift.

Good enough!
Very impressed with how well built this unit is. It seems quite sturdy, displays are bright and easy to read, and controls are intuitive and well laid-out. You should read the directions anyway, as there are some nuances that require a bit of education, but not much! I turned on both units and they synced together without issue. Since some reviewers said they had syncing issues, I re-synced twice, just to make sure that wasn't an issue, and no problems at all. With all temperature probes plugged in at once, they all read within one degree of each other. The two furthest apart were still less than a degree apart. That may not be scientific accuracy, but it's good enough for barbecue! 5 stars for a very good unit at a very decent price.

Highly recommend
We have used this several times and have found it works very well. The 4 probes are really nice and since they are interchangeable, they can be dedicated to a variety of meats or vegetables. We have had other wireless remote thermometers, but this one seems to be the best. The probes broke several times on the other thermometer and we just got tired of replacing them. The wire seemed to be weak at the connecting point of the probe. It frayed with just a few uses. Thus far, this one seems to be a better quality. If you like to BBQ and also entertain your guests while the food is cooking, I recommend a remote thermometer and this one in particular.

Didn't Work When It Arrived
Purchased this because of the great evaluation on AmazingRibs.come. Package arrived with the bottom of the box taped shut with packing tape. Suspect it had been returned and just sent out to me. Instructions were minimal, to say the least. Took a while to figure out how to open the battery compartment. Put batteries in the transmitter. Red "Alarm" light came on and remained steady but nothing else. LCD panel was blank. Pressed the power button, first for just a second, then held it for about 5 seconds. Neither caused it to turn on. Put batteries in the remote receiving unit and pressed the power button. LCD panel lit up as expected, but still nothing for the base unit. Pulled batteries out of transmitting (base) unit and put them back in. No change. Plugged the temp probes in ( thought they might be necessary?) no change. Tried several different ways of removing and replacing the batteries, including with brand new duracell batteries. Noting worked. Fortunately I had purchased this with a credit card (where you can challenge a charge if necessary) and from Amazon (because of their excellent return policy). In the mail being returned even now. Might be a great thermometer but I'll never know. Going to try an Inkbird instead.
