I have a new coffee maker, K Brew + Chill. I bought an assortment to try and this is one of my favorite. They can all be brewed hot or cold. The 2 McCafe’s have sugar and creamer, nothing else to add. As hot brew, they are good to brew up to 8 oz. As a cold brew and with ice, they are only good to brew up to 6 oz or it will be weak tasting or watered down. Duos Cookies + Caramel is the strongest taste of the bunch. It taste good as a hot or cold 8 oz brew. I frothed some home made creamer and they are great. The Vanilla Caramel is the weakest of the brew. I only brew as a 6 oz hot or cold, add 2 oz of cold Starbucks iced roast dark coffee and some flavored froth - they are tasty.

This is a great variety of flavors if you enjoy iced coffee . . . is what I wanna say. But the McCafe flavors ruin it for me. I will accept responsibility for taking a chance on this variety pack when I know that I don't normally enjoy flavored, sweetened coffees like cappuccinos and lattes. But I thought they can't be THAT bad. Wrong! Here are my ratings of the individual flavors. 1)Cookies and Caramel-Very tasty. I wish the caramel flavor was a bit stronger. You can definitely taste the cookie flavor. It leans a bit on the chocolatey side. It pairs very well with my DaVinci vanilla flavored syrup. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2)Vanilla Caramel-This is my favorite flavor. Green Mountain is a great brand, so I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. I'll be purchasing these separately next time. This coffee goes perfectly with my flavored syrup. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 3)Hazelnut Latte-This coffee is much better than I anticipated. I like the hazelnut flavor. It is very sweet which is the main reason I don't like the sweetened coffees. Thankfully, the ice melts and cuts some of that sugary taste. I don't know what sweetener they use, but it tends to leave an aftertaste that I don't love. But I'll tolerate it until these gone. ⭐⭐⭐ 4)Mocha Frappe-This is the nastiest flavored coffee I've ever had. I have no idea what evil food scientist thought this was a good idea. Who were the tasters? The chocolate flavor tastes too artificial. The coffee is very sweet. And the aftertaste for this one is worse than the hazelnut latte. I added about two teaspoons of Private Selection Double Cocoa Hot Cocoa today to see if that would improve the flavor. It did. But that aftertaste is so gross. I hate that I have to drink 4 more of these. ⭐ I recognize that this experience is unique to me. So I will say this variety pack will work for you if you normally like sweetened, flavored coffee. Chocolate lovers, you're gonna hate the mocha frappe. The unsweetened coffees aren't too strong. I brewed mine using "strong" and they were still mild-medium. Those coffees were also smooth. Overall, I rate the variety pack a weak four with the unsweetened coffees doing most of the heavy lifting. Have a great day! Update 08/09/25 I wanted to make a correction and share a positive discovery. First, the correction. I mentioned that I brewed the unsweetened coffees using the strong setting on my Keurig, and that the taste was mild-medium. Welp, I want to amend that and say that the coffee doesn't taste strong AFTER I add ice. I tasted the Cookies and Caramel yesterday and was like whoa. That is strong. I misspoke, so let me make sure to update my review. Because if you brew yours on strong, you might be tweaking a little bit. 🤪😂 Now for the positive discovery. I added baking cocoa and hot cocoa mix to the nasty mocha yesterday and this vastly improved the taste. Today, I tried the hazelnut with just the baking cocoa. Wow! Such a great flavor. If you like Nutella flavors, you're gonna enjoy this combination. From henceforth, I'll be using the baking cocoa with both sweetened coffees to improve the tastes. The hot cocoa mix adds a little too much sugar for me, so I'll stop using.
