Best work pants
Im an electrician and i wear these to work. Ive been wearing them for 5 months now and still have no holes in them and i snag them on nails, always crawling on my knees. These are the absolute best work pants ive ever owned. Ive been doing construction for over 10 years and out of all the name brands ive bought, these are the most durable and most comfortable work pants. Also they are very good in the heat, they fit loose and are very breathable. Also have a good bit of flex to them making it easy to fit long johns under them or more warmth if needed.

Practical Design & True Black Color
These pants are excellent! I have a phone in a large case, and it fits perfectly in the front pocket thight—not too tight, not too loose. A small magazine would fit, but a full-sized one likely wouldn’t, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to carry larger items. I didn't tested this out. The carabiner hook is a fantastic addition—perfect for holding my keys. It's super easy to clip and unclip without even having to look, which is a nice touch. The color is a true, deep black—not the faded or washed-out black you sometimes find with other clothing. The rich black shade actually made my shirt look light in comparison. After washing, the color stayed vibrant with minimal shrinkage and no noticeable fading. The material feels great too: comfortable and ideal for daily wear. These pants have a double-button style, with the inside lower button and the main button. There was a slight difference in the inside seam between this pair and a previous one I bought—a gray seam on the older pair versus a green seam on these—but it’s not noticeable when you’re wearing them. It’s just the inside seam where the belt sits. Overall, I’d highly recommend these pants, depending on your needs. They offer a great combination of quality, comfort, and practicality!

Best all around for aviation work.
I work in aviation maintenance (line and flight), and these pants are my go to. Our company issues us Dickie cargo pants, but I cannot stand them. They are heavy, bulky, and fit poorly. These CQRs are light, comfortable, durable and fit well. The water resistance is very good, even after repeated washings, and will dry quickly after working in monsoon conditions. I wear them for both line work and charter flights with my dress white flight shirts. They look professional for the VIP flights, fit perfect and can take a beating from crawling around aircraft when doing maintenance work. They are perfect for all weather (rain, heat, snow, cold). Pockets are perfect for some tools and flashlights. I cannot say enough about them.

Solid tactical pants, but not the OCP look-alike I hoped for
I grabbed these CQR Flex Ripstop Tactical Pants hoping they’d pass as something close to my OCPs, but they definitely don’t. The pattern is similar in idea, but the shades are off, the color balance doesn’t match real multicam, and it’s not a cheap Crye alternative by any stretch. If you’re buying these expecting uniform accuracy, you’ll be disappointed. That said, as actual pants, they’re pretty solid. The flex ripstop fabric is comfortable, doesn’t feel cheap, and the water resistance actually works better than I expected. The pocket layout is practical, stitching is decent, and they move well when you’re crouching, bending, or hauling gear around. For everyday work, range days, yard work, or anything rough-and-tumble, they’re a reliable option. Overall, they’re good tactical pants—just not a true OCP-style match. If accuracy in pattern is important to you, skip them. If you just want durable, flexible, water-resistant pants for daily use, they earn their four stars.

Great pants for a Chicago Winter!
I love these pants for winter wear. They keep the wind out yet are comfortable and breathe. I like the utility and functionality with lots of well designed pockets. The stitching looks great and durable.

Great Substitution for 5.11's Tactical Pants
Use these for work on the ambulance as well as in the ER. They're comfortable, they protect against stains from a variety of bodily fluids and the don't look bad either. After a lot of kneeling and squatting the start to show signs of wear, but no ripping or tearing. They are a good, cheap knock-off of some of 5.11's tactical pants, and don't fit as tightly. Bought one pair, wore them around for months and ended up buying another when my 5.11's got a hole in the crotch from one too many squats. If you're on the fence, go for it.

1st Order: Awesome Pants 2nd: Some order quirks, Worn Stained Dirty 3rd: Great New Pants
Had to update my review after the second order experience, did leave the original review below (first), which remains true, unfortunately the second order experience is also true. Did have a very good 3rd order experience. 1st OrderReview: Awesome lightweight, flex ripstop, quick dry, water & stain resistant, all weather ready and breathable, rugged cargo hiking/outdoor/tactical pants. Hook and loop closures for decent sized cargo pockets and rear pockets, Check, they're always on my list of preferences, along with a reliable ykk zipper. I put these pants to the test hiking and working in landscaping in the humid heat, comfortable and tough. Great value for the very reasonable price in comparison to other awesome brands like LAPG & 511, actively wear pants from these stellar brands, and now see that CQR is in that same level of quality, build & design, comfort, and outright ruggedness. And in the lightweight category with all the amazing features, can say CQR's Marauder Captain stands above the rest. 2nd ordering experience placed 7/25... 7/26 notification: Amazon changed delivery fromThursday 7/31 to Sunday 7/27, cool, I'm okay with that. 7/27 notification: Arrived hometown USPS early Sun morning, about 4:30 pm, USPS changes to "customer changed to pickup" and will be notified by email when ready for pickup. I Did Not Change the Delivery to Pickup, the USPS did. 7/28 Mid-morning: Monday contacted Amazon CS actual person was excellent, I wanted a refund, said he started process of 2-5 business days. In afternoon delivery notification: delivered to mailbox, hmm... I retrieve and look at pants the next day ... No tags/silica bags raises an eyebrow. Wow, Worn, Stained, & Dirty, with Cat Hair. Scattered red stains, blood? "Mysterious" white stains at inner zipper/button area. Scattered white stains. Places where someone tried rubbing out red and white stains. Worn appearance, several day's worth, back of leg/rear worn with creasing, knees stretched and worn from someone being on knees, worn out appearance overall. Cat Hair scattered throughout. See photos. Shade of pants varies in photos, one pair in soil green. Was unacceptable. Paid full price for new pants, not for someone's Dirty Laundry. So, great first experience, one with some drama, a third that was great again. Received a full refund for second dirty order. And yea, because it was being taken care of in a timely manner, and these are incredibly rugged pants and lightweight, with flex ripstop, water and stain resistant, super fast drying, and very comfortable, back up to 5 stars. Put to the test, these pants are outstanding. 3rd order with free shipping arrived in 4 days including weekend, properly packaged brand new Marauder in Green Kelp 32x32. These are my favorite pants and only such pants I've found with these features that also has cargo and rear pockets with hook and loop closures. Great colors to choose from, love the Cougar and Green Kelp options.. Cougar was a slight bit darker than in photos, and Green Kelp a slight bit lighter, I'm good with that. Plan to order more and yea, highly recommending these pants, tough and very comfortable.

Bought twice, received two different styles of pants
So, I’ve ordered from this exact same listing twice now. The first time, I ordered the pants in a khaki color and I received a totally different style of pant. This listing seems to be for the CRQ code TLP760 style pant, but I received TXP440 style pants in khaki. They’re pictured with this review, but I wore them to work today, so they’re super dirty at the moment. lol. You’d think I might have been angry that I did not receive what I had specifically ordered, however, they’re actually my favorite pair of pants by far. They’re great for work, super light weight for those blistering summer days. And on top of that they have these breather slits right in the back of the knee. So working in a factory with no A/C like I do, they’re absolutely amazing. I also love that the front thigh tactical “clip” pockets on them are both just non-covered slits instead of one slit style pocket and one covered velcro flap style pocket like the ones in the listing. Makes it easy to carry pens, markers, box knife, whatever. And as a result, they’re both easily accessed whether you're right handed or left. The lower cargo pockets on them aren't velcro either. One is a zipper pocket and the other has a flap, but no velcro, so it's easy to get in and out of. Finally, the key ring is on a belt loop in the back of the pants, so your keys arent in your way all day when reaching for items in the front tactical pockets. Plus, we have to where an ID badge, so having an ID badge on one side and your keys on the other gets annoying and also gets in the way of removing items from those tactical “clip” pockets on the thighs. Placing the key loop in the back avoids this annoyance. They also look very good too, so you could wear them casually. And they seem to be pretty resistant to staining, although not completely. I work numerous jobs in my position at the factory, some involve a lot of oily metal parts. Others involve alot of dirt and dust, etc. You come home filthy every day. Save for the slightest bit of discoloration in the front thigh area, and a dark spot in the exact shape of my wallet on the back pocket that probably came from sitting on something dirty, they look pretty much like new after every wash. Not sure why it only stained where my wallet was specifically and not the rest of my butt, but whatever. lol. Oh, they’re not stretchy in the waist though. That was a selling point I looked for specifically, as well as the front thigh tactical pockets. And since reviews said these pants ran small, I bought a 32 instead of a 30 and then when I got them they hung off my butt a bit. A belt fixed that without a problem though. So to make a long story short, I wasn't upset at all that I didn't receive the exact pants I had ordered because I liked these so much more. When I ordered this listing, I did a lot of research and compared a lot of different brands and styles and landed on these as the best option, but I was still making a couple compromises. After receiving the TXP440 by mistake though, I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. So, I decided to make a second purchase from this same listing in the color black hoping that it would show less dirt as I wore them at work. This time though, I ordered a 30 in the waist after deciding that the brand fit pretty true to size despite what a number of the other reviews claimed. To my dismay, the second time I purchased them I did receive the pants that are actually listed here and I must admit, I’m slightly disappointed and have found another listing for the style of pants I like more that I’ll likely purchase from in the future instead. With that said, the pants aren't bad at all. The material is significantly thicker I will say. Which likely means they’re a bit more durable, but they’ll also be a lot hotter in the summer months and will definitely lead to some mud butt situations here in the south in a factory with no A/C. Hah. Which was admittedly one of the criticisms I saw levied against the pants in other reviews before purchasing them the first time, so whatever. I sort of expected it. I was just really hoping Id get the other style of pants again like I did the first time. I’ll just wear them during colder months I guess. Then the key ring has returned to the front of the pants on this style, so yeah, lame. To me at least. And three of the four additional pockets are the flap style with velcro, with only one slit style clip pocket. But since I’m right handed, the easy access slit style front thigh “clip” pocket is on the wrong side for quick access to pens and knives, etc. For the way I prefer to carry them at least. Still, my original tactical pants had the same velcro flap style clip pocket, so I’ll live. And finally, these do have the elastic stretchy bit in the waist band. Thing is, I bought my last elastic waist style tactical pants in 32 and found that the elastic tightened enough on my 30 inch waist so that I didn't have to wear a belt with them. BUT, if my weight fluctuated a bit as it tends to do and I put on a few pounds in the winter, they still fit great. Since I bought these in 30 though, they fit great, and movement in them is wonderful, but the elastic doesn't seem like its going to give enough to go up a whole pant size if I gain weight. So I would’ve preferred to have these in 32 and only bought them in 30 anticipating receiving the same style pants I did the first time. Hah. So yeah, I hope this helps any potential buyers. Sorry it’s so long, but for anyone wavering a bit between which style to buy, I’d suggest going with the TXP440 instead unless these particular pants are just the exact pants you want for every reason. And even then, be cautious, cause you might order them expecting to get the exact pants in the listing, only to select a color and size that they end up sending you in a totally different pant style all together… Just a heads up.
