DreamSky Small Digital Alarm Clock for Bedroom with Large Big Numbers

Love the size, slim design with large digital to read without my glasses during the night. It's nice to adjust the brightness too. Great product and value.

It is bright and the digits are big enough to read it from far away. But if you want it dimmer, you can easily dim it. There's 5 levels of brightness. I personally like Level 4 cause Level 5 is very bright. Yes, it is plugged in, but I love that you can even place batteries in it just in case power goes out. Of course, it doesn't run on batteries, but it's good to have batteries in there just in case power goes out (I HATE having to go to all the clocks and reset them all when power goes out!) It is very lightweight but it's also very sturdy. The volume for alarm is changeable and can get loud if you want it. I got 2 of these for 2 different rooms and I'm VERY happy with them. I was a little skeptical of buying it due to the price. But I ended up loving the product.

Right out of the box I was disappointed with how small this clock is (5-1/4" wide X 1-1/4" deep), only to find out that I ordered the small version instead of the larger version. I have since ordered the larger version. However, I am going to keep, and use, the small version. Why? Because the digital read-out is 2-1/8" high and it is a robust bright blue that really stands out and I can see it without my glasses. The box, instructions and warranty card lend itself to the whole presentation, as this seems like a nice quality clock. The approach to the technology behind it is fairly simple compared to some. There are 4 buttons on the back. The second from the left, is the 12/24 HR button, which toggles back and forth from standard to 24-hour military time. When it is on the standard setting, after 12 Noon, it will display a 1/4" high "PM" in the upper left corner of the display on front. The second from the right, is the AL ON/OFF button and when you push it to engage the alarm, in the middle at the bottom, a "bell" icon will be displayed. When the alarm sounds, you can snooze it by touching the sensor at the top, and the bell icon will blink, and the it will go off again in 9 minutes. You can turn it off by pressing ANY of the four buttons in the back. Absolutely awesome! That beats trying to find just the right button in the dark. And, the cherry on top of the cake, is when you turn it off, it is automatically set for the next day. It doesn't get any better than that. The alarm will sound for only two minutes then stop if no action is taken. If the alarm is engaged, you press this button to disengage it, and the bell icon on the front disappears. The first, on the left, is the Time Set button. You long press it once to change the hour, using the 2nd button (12/24 HR) to move the time forward, and the 3rd button (AL ON/OFF) to move the time backward; the press it again to set the minutes. Then press it again to lock it in, and leave that mode. The first, on the right, is the ALARM SET button. If you short press it, it gives you the time the alarm is set for. You long press it once to change the hour, using the 2nd button (12/24 HR) to move the time forward, and the 3rd button (AL ON/OFF) to move the time backward; the press it again to set the minutes. Then press it again to lock it in, and leave that mode. To the left of the first button, is a wheel to adjust the volume (30 dB to 90 dB) of the alarm. It is a nice loud alarm. To the right of the last button is a wheel to adjust the level (0% to 100%) of illumination on the digital readout. It is very bright, but not enough to be distracting, or possibly keep you awake. On the back, there are two USB ports. One for the cord to power the unit, and the other to charge your cell phone. There is also a back-up battery compartment, which holds two AAA batteries. During a power outage, they will only save your time and alarm settings, the time will not be displayed, the alarm will not sound. At the bottom are four non-skid feet. So, for such a small unit, this thing rocks. Which is why I'm going to keep it. When I get the larger one, I'll save that for a spare. If you like small and compact, this is really a well-made alarm clock. See my picture comparing it to its big brother (DS306).

This is a great little alarm clock — simple, clear, and easy to use. The big number display is bright and easy to read, even from across the room, and the dimmer lets you adjust it so it’s not too harsh at night. The USB charging port is super convenient, and the adjustable alarm volume is a nice touch, especially if you don’t want something too jarring first thing in the morning. The USB‑C power option makes it feel more modern than a lot of basic clocks. It’s not fancy, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and does it well. Overall: a reliable, easy‑to‑read bedside clock with useful features. A solid 4 stars.

Small, as desired. The clock and alarm, easy to set. The amount of illumination, adjustable, from very bright to dim but readable. GREAT things come in small packages! Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this little clock! It is dimmable so I don't see it during the day but at night it shows just enough to read easily when I wake up every hour or so. I roll over & go back to sleep. Before it was grab the phone & glasses to check the time then I couldn't go back to sleep! I almost didn't put the battery backup in, but I did. 3 days later we had a 3 hour power outage during the night & I never noticed it as the clock kept perfect time.

I don't normally write reviews this quickly, but this alarm clock impressed me. The purpose of this clock is to replace my phone alarm and to not have a phone by my cranium at night. It's just the right size, with a large enough display for aging eyes. There's nothing hugely technical about the clock, it just tells time and has one alarm time ~ purely practical. What is sweet is the display brightness can be adjusted. Like the brightness, the alarm volume can be adjusted. Buttons on the back for the settings feel solid, not cheap. The clock doesn't have a clue what the date or day of the week it is, so you will want to disable the alarm when needed. While there is a generous snooze feature, I sort of wish they had an alarm off button on top. The clock is powered by a small transformer that generates a 5VDC source, a cable then plugs into the back of the clock. A pair of AAA batteries can be used to store clock settings. I've used it well over a week already. It's simple and effective. I cannot comment on the durability, it feels like a solidly built product and seems like it will last. I'd feel more confident with a standard cord and have the power supply within the clock. ⏰

Love how you can change the colors of this clock, it’s bold and bright numbers. I can see it across the room, especially at night. Great product for the price and very functional. I don’t use it as an alarm so not sure how it sounds. Easy to set up-instructions are simple. Very sturdy.

All the features work perfectly. Just discovered I can't deactivate the alarm for vacations etc!

At last. You get what you pay for in this alarm clock. Sharp display and simple controls. That work. Great to find it after some online research. Unlike some of the complete tat for sale masquerading as digital clocks - with clearly misleading reviews - elsewhere.

Like: good size of display yet very compact. Brightness of display is very good. Accuracy is perfect. Dislike: very expensive, should have one third of the price. USB jack at the back protrude out making it very difficult to mount on wall. You may Neel an L shape USB adapter to reduce the gap between wall and device. Overall a good buy if you are willing to spend the money.

Great clock, very easy to follow instructions, works like a dream, dimmable feature is brilliant
