I ordered these little plug drill bits hoping they would work to add more shelf holder holes to a cabinet I have. They worked perfectly!! I loved how easy it was for me to get nice holes that weren’t too deep or drilled crooked. I am by no means a pro at woodworking or using power tools so you can imagine my trepidation when I began to work with these bits. However, using a slow setting on my drill, I was easily able to control how deep these bits went with no issues. Plus, the shape of the bit allowed for easier directional alignment so my holes looked like they’d been done by a factory machine! My shelf holder pieces fit perfectly & my new shelves look fabulous.

Cheap price, you get what you pay for. This photo was the 6mm cutter right outof the bag (packed in tiny ziploc bag). Tried it on some mahogany that was far from hardand it burned it's way through one plug, so much smoke I couldn't see thetool. And that was at a slow speed. Try another brand....

I’m a woodworker and these do the job without much effort. Price is good for a set of plug cutters that are cheaper to replace than the headache of sharpening. Will purchase again.

These are great when you don’t want weather to get into a screw hole on a Project cut them out of your wood Glue and hammer them in sand off to finish

All four plugcutters were shipped in the same small ziploc pouch, bouncing and jostling each other for space during shipment.The cutting edges are all dinged. I cleaned them up and they are serviceable. A little padding would have delivered a better product. They were cheap. I guess I got what I paid for.

Dull right out of the package. Not even sharp enough to slowly pulse-cut plugs. Actually bound my drill press motor - I would fully expect a motor to seize if you don’t cut the power quick enough. I got what I paid for - assuming they would be short lived but ultimately not even worth the price, as I couldn’t even get a few plugs out of these cutters.

I should’ve looked at the photos closer in the ad description as they also show how rough the cutting edge is.

Everyone who said this is USELESS CRAP are right. The bits are poorly packaged, so the cutting edge is bumped by the other bits. Also, the description is cagey deceptive marketing. It references the "One style cutter" to cut the holes, making it sound like they are included - which they are not! Using regular drills to drill the holes can work, but unless they are good, sharp drills, you are liable to get rough edges that will show after sinking the plug in. Worst of all, the plug cutter bits are not sharp enough and make poor quality plugs.

Quality not very good. But I should have that based on what I paid.

Really soft and mild steel. Cutting edges out of the package not accurate to cut but shreds, dulls on first plunge into Philippine mahogany. I reshaped the cutter and honed the edges to their proper degree and it cut properly but again dulled after a couple plugs. This is not lignum vitae but soft Philippine mahogany I’m working with. Perhaps I can use them to make apple or Mellon plugs for my salad’s but not carrots.
