But only time will tell. I do not remember how long the original lasted, but it seemed quite awhile. If nothing else, the new ones should have a good service life.

These seem heavy duty and well built. I like how thick the plastic is on them. Why only 4 stars? It doesn't go up as high as the orginal plastic did on the duplicate checks. I usually write large and now have to be careful when writing the date, so I don't go off the plastic. I came back to purchase another set and thought to leave a review, so others will know the only issue that I had with them.

I always have had a check divider to place between my checks so that my writing does not appear on two of my carbonized check receipts. Recently my divider broke and I taped it so I could continue to use it, because I couldn’t find a checkbook with the same type of divider I have always had. The new checkbooks are made with a cheap divider. I found these on Amazon, and they are just what I needed. I easily installed it in my checkbook, and it’s working great. Love it!
